Promising review: "I’ve used color catchers for many years, so I can wash darks and lights together. They save time and money. (I’ve given boxes to each of my children as they headed off to college.) You can tell they work, because you see the color they soak up. If I have a garment that I know runs badly, I still wash it separately so as not to tempt fate. Recently, however, a new purple shirt took me by surprise and ran profusely. I had two color catchers in that load. They both turned deep violet. The only purple stain was on a white dish towel that had ended up next to the shirt and sat there with it for a couple of hours after the wash cycle finished. Everything else was fine. These are seriously one of the best home inventions of the modern era." —Go Steelers

Promising review: "All of a sudden my washer stunk and nothing worked and the smell permeated throughout the house. I tried at different times bleach tablets, vinegar, vinegar/baking soda, essential oils, Pine-Sol, taking everything apart and scrubbing everything. Took out the filter and drained the old water out. After a few days, the smell would return and the smell was so bad I was about to buy a new washer since nothing worked. I even stopped using liquid washing detergent and fabric softener, but this didn't help either. Tried this product as a last resort. Put one tablet in three times on the sanitary cycle. Amazingly the smell was gone and after a couple of months, there still have not been any issues of smelling like mold/mildew. I will continue to use the product to keep the smell away. Very pleased with this purchase." —JS

Promising review: "This thing is excellent. I just 'repaired' two cashmere sweaters and one modal-blend jersey top to like-new condition. The waste compartment fills up quickly and will start clogging the blades if not emptied frequently. I will share one trick I found for emptying the area around the blades. Remove the waste compartment, and hold the unit vertically over a garbage can while turning the defuzzer on. Blades will spin, and the rest of the pills will fall out. Enjoy." —Fine Print Reader

The second tub is for spin-drying. The washing machine runs for 15 mins and a spin timer takes 5 mins per load.
Promising review: "It's a great compact machine that gets your laundry as clean as most large washing machines. It takes a bit more effort on your part to tend to each load, but it's easier than running up and down flights of stairs, digging in the sofa for coins, and fighting over the next machine. I plan on finding a cart to place this on so I can store it easier, and find an adaptor that will fit the inlet hose." —Michael

Promising review: "I like to smoke cigars every rare occasion, but I hate the lingering smell. My boyfriend has a very strong sense of smell, and even after things go through the wash he could still smell the smoke. After spraying with this 20 minutes before a wash it is perfect, no residual smells, and it doesn't try and mask it with another scent, it just eliminates it." —Austin Alexander

Promising review: "When you have anything white in your house and you have a love for red wine THIS PRODUCT IS A MUST! We had a dinner party of about 15 people in our house so I bought five bottles just in case. Someone spilled red wine on our brand new white couch. I was so mad, but I used this stuff and it was GONE. It didn't just take most of the red wine out — the red wine was GONE! No trace of it at all! I will buy more!" —Amazon Customer

Promising review: "THE ANSWER to our dilemma! We were so excited to have a washer and dryer upstairs near our bedroom, but then we discovered one BIG PROBLEM — nowhere to store any wash baskets! HELP! So I took a risk with this one, and was a little unsure, since people have said it is hard to collapse. That is totally not true — we realized the easiest way to collapse the wash basket is to turn it upside down and place it on the floor. Then you can gently press down, and it folds up quickly and almost effortlessly. I am thrilled that I can store it in the closet, where it doesn't take up too much space at all. Brilliant product!" —Dot Calm

Promising review: "This design is much improved over a previous (more plastic-y) generation of design. My complaint with that design was that the top rack didn't have a positive latching mechanism to lock in to place; any time you barely kicked the bottom or nudged it, it would collapse. This has a positive latching mechanism so it is rigid when it's locked in. In other words, it's stable. Only minor complaint is that the bars are a touch shorter than I'd like but that's a matter of personal preference. If you're like me and don't like drying clothes all the way in the dryer and you also live in a small apartment/condominium unit, this is perfect for you." —Edward Jensen

Promising review: "I have several clothing items that have care instructions that state 'no fabric softener' so I stopped using dryer sheets or liquid clothes softener. However, there was the problem with static electricity. The wool dryer balls eliminated this problem. The laundry is wrinkle-free and static-free now. I am so happy about the results of this product that I bought four more of the packages to give to my adult daughters and my sisters. I recommend this product." —Michael Nestor

These drawers are a much-needed upgrade from my Ikea bins. Not only do they complement my Thuma Bed, but they also roll smoothly, and virtually disappear under the frame. Which is great because I don't want to see them all the time. I was able to fit four queen duvet covers and a few towels in one bin. Right now I'm using the other drawer for hair supplies. So far, so great, I get compliments on these all the time. If you have the money, they're worth the splurge.

It feels downright luxurious in my closet now. I can see all my clothes and nothing is squished together like it used to be. I can also comfortably add a substantial amount of clothing and would still have room to grow. BUY THESE IMMEDIATELY!" —milanina77
