By reducing the number of necessary washes, you'll save on laundry, water, and electricity.
Promising review: "I’ve used color catchers for many years, so I can wash darks and lights together. They save time and money. (I’ve given boxes to each of my children as they headed off to college.) You can tell they work, because you see the color they soak up. If I have a garment that I know runs badly, I still wash it separately so as not to tempt fate. Recently, however, a new, purple shirt took me by surprise and ran profusely. I had two color catchers in that load. They both turned deep violet. The only purple stain was on a white dish towel that had ended up next to the shirt and sat there with it for a couple of hours after the wash cycle finished. Everything else was fine. These are seriously one of the best home inventions of the modern era." —Go Steelers

Promising review: "Our home was built in 1984, solid-wood cabinets are still solid but needed some love. We are getting ready to update the countertops and I was trying to decide if I wanted to spend the extra money and just replace the cabinets. Decided to try some love on the old cabinets, found this product and gave it a try. Yes, it was some work, but I am a 'hands-on' kind of girl so spent the better part of a day removing the cabinet hardware, waxing, and buffing. This product does feel greasy but I could see it soaking into our old wood cabinets. Even gave some of the more used ones a second coat. Left it on for the directed 20 minutes and then buffed off with a clean, dry cloth. Our old cabinets look fantastic. So glad I found this, it just saved us thousands on the cost of new cabinets." —K. All you have to do is pop this in your drain! It's made of silicone so you can easily wipe away all the gross hair and soap it catches (and who knows what else). And if you *do* need to unclog your drains, a little Drano never hurts. You can also get a SinkShroom for your kitchen and bathroom sinks!
Promising review: "My house was built in the 1960s, so I have metal pipes that have corroded over the years and are prone to hair clogs. I’ve had to call a plumber multiple times over the past two years to remove hair clogs that had been pushed deep underground. Two females with extremely thick hair live in my house, so we shed a lot! It became hard to avoid standing in water up to our ankles during showers. After my last personal effort to unclog two slow-draining tubs, I decided that preventing the clogs should be my new top priority. In an effort to save my older plumbing and my wallet, I purchased a TubShroom for each bathroom. The TubShroom has helped TREMENDOUSLY with drainage issues in both tubs. It catches a ton of hair, soap, and other bath products. It’s so easy to remove the hair and clean the TubShroom. It can be done in seconds and then you are ready to put it back in your drain and enjoy your shower without water pooling around your feet. I would recommend this to anyone with older pipes who is looking for a way to prevent hair clogs and avoid another call to the local plumber." —Tiffany

Promising review: "I have a rather expensive set of stainless steel cookware, purchased only a year ago. Despite constant care, the set was getting so bad that I was considering replacements! I ordered this as a last chance and I am so glad I did! Yesterday I scoured this pan with Dawn and baking soda for about 10 minutes and it still looked terrible. Two minutes with this cleaner and my pan looks brand new inside and out! I immediately pulled the rest of my pots and pans out of the cabinet and restored them as well! I am so glad that I ordered this! Bar Keepers Friend just saved me a ton of money!" —RCIstl

It'll also help with the pungent scent coming from your machine. I mean, cleaning your dishwasher is far more cost effective than buying a whole new one.
Promising review: "After using this product, I am happy to report that my $5 investment saved me over $500. I was ready to replace my dishwasher due to super-cloudy glasses, residue, and dishes just not getting clean. Then I became aware that the water softener was no longer doing its job so I had the rental company replace it. Dishwasher performance improved somewhat. I decided to do two more loads before deciding to purchase a new one. Then I saw a product test review for Affresh. I was ordering some stuff from Amazon anyway so I added that to my order. When it came, I tossed one of the tablets into the bottom of the full machine per the instructions and ran the regular cycle. I did not expect the results I got! The glassware that I thought was permanently etched and ruined came out like new. Same with cutlery. The difference is unbelievable. I will use this faithfully every month, as recommended. I can even put it on my subscribe and save order so I will get a new pack every six months. I am amazed!" —Sheila

Promising review: "Like others in the reviews of this product, I was both skeptical and on the verge of buying a new washer. I had tried pretty much everything mentioned: vinegar, bleach...had always left the door open when not in use, and had even had the rubber ring replaced a couple of years back. As a last resort, I bought this produce, hoping to save the cost of a new washer and to save the washer itself. I was not disappointed! I ran the three cycles as recommended. It didn't work until the third cycle, at which point I opened the machine and it was actually clean. The black on the rubber ring was gone, the smell was gone. I wiped the sitting water out of the ring as usual, and it was clean and no black came out on the towel. It's been a week, and so far so good! Product totally worth it for us!" —Lulu799

Promising review: "Saved me from calling the plumber. I've used this product before for smell with great results. When we moved to a new condo, the kitchen sink reeked and was slow to drain. Using three packets in a row not only eliminated the stink but also the sluggish draining cleared up. So when, a while back, my left sink (not the one with the garbage disposal in it) started backing up when I used the right sink, I thought I might as well give it a try and see if it helped. Not only did it help but, the problem went away by the third pack again. Two packets probably would have been sufficient, but I'm a fan of overkill in situations like this. I love this stuff." —Julie

Promising review: "This is by far the greatest carpet cleaner I have ever used. This is also the first review I have ever given to a product. I was skeptical at first as I have used many carpet cleaners in the past that didn't do what they claimed they could, but with Carpet Miracle it was a MIRACLE! My carpet is old and had dirt pathways that I tried to clean before, without success. I thought this cleaner would do the same, but I'm willing to try anything once. Boy was I surprised when I started using my carpet cleaner with the Carpet Miracle Cleaning Solution (which only uses 1 oz) how great is that, that I could see the difference. Even my husband noticed how clean the carpet was. Lucky for him because now he doesn't have to spend money on a new carpet!!! Just can't say enough about this product, have told all my family and friends about this product and will continue to brag about this product! I will be buying this again, but you use so little that it goes a long way. I cleaned a living room carpet and a bedroom carpet with this product and it is WONDERFUL!! I don't mind paying for something that produces results that I am looking for and that they claim will do!!!" —nancy sillman

Reviewers note that using this may darken the leather, so keep that in mind!
Promising review: "These are 'before' and 'after' photos. The last photo is a section conditioned and one waiting to be conditioned. This couch is about 20 years old. It’s made of new buck leather, and this is the first time I have ever conditioned the leather. I cleaned it first with the cleaner from this company. The couch was very sun faded and dry, and it absorbed a lot of the conditioning product. I found that applying it with a paint brush worked best. I started with the application cloth, but the leather was so dried out that the paint brush worked better. I kept applying until the dry brown color turned to the darker color. It took many coats of the product. This couch was originally a very dark-green color/ almost black. It has returned to its original glory. My husband is very happy that we don’t have to replace this quality made couch. Maybe we’ll get another 20 years of use out of it?!" —Mary

Promising review: "This stuff is amazing. I have a stall shower that was always moldy, mildewy, and just plain ugly. I could never find a cleaner that would actually get it back to white and sparkling. This did it! I sprayed it on and let it work, rinsed it off (to get the smell to dissipate), and it was gone. My shower is the 3"x3" small squares, the grout lines were ugly and made me want to remove the whole thing and start again. Not anymore. I just saved myself hundreds by using this product! If you're frustrated by mold...give it a try. It is extremely strong so make sure to have ventilation and maybe even a mask if you're going to be using it. Once it's rinsed it just leaves a clean, bleach smell. If you're able to be away for a few, it doesn't even need rinsed." —Mnypnny281

Promising review: "I recently moved in as a roommate in a house where three adults share a single bathroom. In an effort to keep things neat and make cleaning the bathroom easier, we don't keep our shower items in the shower, so it's helpful to have something to transport everything to and from the bathroom. This gets the job done — it holds all of my shower necessities, including a 33-oz bottle of conditioner (in the center compartment). The outer pockets hold my facial cleanser, body wash, toothpaste, etc. just fine." —Danielle Emick

Promising review: "If you’re looking to add a little more order and communication to your house this is an amazing little tool! I used to live in a house with six roommates and no one knew when the dishwasher was clean or dirty. I bought this little baby and no more dirty dishes mixed in with clean dishes. Sometimes people would bump the sliding cover on accident, but overall the sign works well. The magnet stuck just fine to our stainless steel dishwasher and caused no damage. I highly recommend this for any home with multiple people!" —Carolyn

Promising review: "I got this because the front door is un-level and very drafty. I didn’t want to spend a lot since we rent it but the number of bugs coming from underneath was annoying.
"The material is very flexible and pliable which is great. A lot of these that I’ve used at big box stores tend to be somewhat rigid and want to fall off the minute you open the door. For my application, the door itself is raised up about 2" from the floor, so I didn’t have to worry about it dragging. However the door is 90 years old so it’s seen a lot of wear and tear but this thing works perfectly. So impressed with how easy it was to apply, you can guide it along as you need to since it’s so flexible. I never thought I’d get excited about a door draft stopper but this is that moment." —rezzim

Now I can just reach in and immediately get the frying pan that I need without having to unstack. The quality of this organizer is pretty good." —Linda

Promising review: "I had to order this product as I have a roommate who loves to snore. Every night I'd be up late listening to his constant, irritating, and above all obnoxious snoring. When he wasn't snoring, he'd be in the shower singing (badly), or just causing a ruckus in the room. It was driving me crazy and affected my sleep schedule and my sanity. I purchased these in a desperate attempt to sleep better at night and to block him out. And they worked! While not completely blocking out his snoring, it definitely brought it down to a level where it was bearable and I was able to sleep. They also were the perfect remedy to cancel out his singing and his noisy existence while he was in the room. Just reach in the drawer, pull two out, pop them in, and BAM! no more distracting roommate." —Christopher

Everything seems airtight and it was so much fun to empty everything into these containers and use the chalk pen and labels. So, we now have the remotes each in their own pocket and can grab the one we want right away. Nothing gets lost, the table doesn't get scratched from tossing the remote on the table, and due to the color you barely notice it's over the arm of the couch. This is well made of sturdy fabric and long enough to tuck under the couch cushion." —Kathy

Promising review: "Best earbuds I’ve ever purchased. For years I wanted wireless noice canceling earbuds after using the Beats Studios and Bose QC lines. Being an iPhone user I always saw the appeal of AirPods but never could use them due to them not fitting my ear correctly and always falling out. As soon as I saw the design of the AirPods Pro, I instantly came to Amazon and ordered them. If you’re at all contemplating ordering these I 100% recommend them. The noice cancelling is slightly above average and the transparency mode is extremely useful on the go or whenever you need to hear your surroundings with your music. Amazing product definitely worth the steep price." —Corey P.
And here's more from BuzzFeed shopping editor Emma Lord: "I have a pair of these, and they're not playing around. Once they're securely in your ear, you can toggle the headphones between noise-canceling and regular sound, depending on your situation. I've been working from home, and the noise-canceling is so effective that I can work next to a window where my neighbor is doing heavy construction and I don't hear anything louder than a faint buzzing. It's quieter than if I'd just plugged my ears with my own fingers. I'm also a runner, and these don't budge when you're sweating, which is nice. It's also handy that these toggle out of noise cancellation mode, because I feel better being able to hear traffic and other people around me when I'm out and about. The TL;DR is I love these so much I have zero interest in owning another pair of headphones for as long as I live."
