1. As a general guide, the head (A) of your eyebrow should line up with the outer edge of your nostril and the tail (C) should line up diagonally with that nostril.

For the bare minimum, you'll need tweezers, a brow pencil, and a spoolie. If you want full eyebrow coverage, powder or pomade are great for creating eyebrow hairs that aren't there. If you're brand new, it's easier to start with powder. The brow gel will hold your eyebrows in place after you've finished filling them in.

As a loose rule of thumb, dark-haired people should opt for a shade that's a little lighter than their hair color and light-haired people should opt for a shade that's a little darker than their hair color.

Once you've identified which skin and hair combination fits you, choose the shade based on your skin's undertone.
