1. As a general guide, the head (A) of your eyebrow should line up with the outer edge of your nostril and the tail (C) should line up diagonally with that nostril.

When shaping, use your tweezers or a pencil to identify the heads and tails of your eyebrows. To figure out where your arch lies, line it up diagonally from your nostril to the center of your eye. Learn more about plucking, trimming, and shaping your eyebrows here.
2. If you want to go further, you can sculpt your eyebrows to match your face shape.

If you think about it, your eyebrows actually determine your face shape because if they're good, they'll be the center of attention. 😉
3. Invest in some basic equipment like tweezers, a brow pencil, and a spoolie brush.

For the bare minimum, you'll need tweezers, a brow pencil, and a spoolie. If you want full eyebrow coverage, powder or pomade are great for creating eyebrow hairs that aren't there. If you're brand new, it's easier to start with powder. The brow gel will hold your eyebrows in place after you've finished filling them in.

5. When using the spoolie, brush the hair up and away from the nose to blend in the color.

6. Figure out what eyebrow shade to use with this handy chart:
As a loose rule of thumb, dark-haired people should opt for a shade that's a little lighter than their hair color and light-haired people should opt for a shade that's a little darker than their hair color.
Once you've identified which skin and hair combination fits you, choose the shade based on your skin's undertone.
For blondes, try Brow Wiz in Taupe for $22.
For redheads, try Brow Wiz in Caramel for $22.
For brunettes, any medium-brown to dark-brown shade should work.
7. While highlighter, concealer, and brow wax aren't necessary, they can really enhance your eyebrow shape and color.

8. Concealer will even out the tops and bottoms of your eyebrows and can help fix any errors.

9. A highlighter pencil can help lift your eyes and emphasize your arch, making your eyebrows pop a little more.

10. Brow wax, which is much thicker than brow gel, will lock coarser hairs in place and help color stay on longer.

Use it before and after you apply your eyebrow colors to achieve different looks. If you apply it before, your eyebrows will look bolder and if you use it after, your eyebrows will have a softer look.
Get Anastasia Brow Wax from Amazon for $21 or the NYX Brow Wax for $8.75.
Now go out there and work dem eyebrows.
