Beautiful beaches, warm water, amazing Cuban food, retro architecture, and exciting night life — Miami has it all, and on the cheap! You can get a budget hotel that is oceanfront for less than you'd think, and tons of cruises leave from the Port of Miami. Rent a car on the off season, and drive down to Key West for a different vibe, a butterfly encounter, and the unique entertainment of Mallory Square.

South Beach Miami

New Orleans has a European vibe, but for much less than a ticket to Europe! Enjoy beautiful architecture, hauntingly beautiful cemeteries, and plenty of delicious and relatively cheap eats. Try pastas, jambalaya, gumbo, praline, and beignets in this historic city. You can even take a riverboat cruise or a cruise down to Mexico from the port.

New Orleans

New York is not known for being inexpensive, but if you can get a flight deal, and are willing to stay in an outer borough, you can see the city relatively inexpensively! Try staying on Staten Island — the ferry to Manhattan is free, and the subway will take you anywhere you'd like to go on the cheap. Search online for cheap eats, and enjoy the many museums, as well as many famous churches and cathedrals. Try "city pass" style deals if you want to see some of the more splurge-worthy sights!

New York City

During an off-time, you can get a killer deal on a great hotel on the strip! If you can resist the gambling, and focus more on cheap drink specials and relaxing by the pool, Vegas can be a steal! There are so many large hotels, that the prices can plummet during non-peak seasons. You can also hike at Red Rock or visit the Springs Preserve if you're a nature lover, and take advantage of the many inexpensive buffets particularly at small neighborhood casinos.
