Which Home Alone Villain Got It Worse?

"This is my house, I have to defend it."

We've all seen Home Alone, the beloved '90s Christmas classic where 8-year-old Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) gets left home by himself.

Life is looking pretty good for Kevin until two burglars come along and attempt to rob his house.

There's Harry: the mastermind, if you will.

And Marv, the even more clueless sidekick.

To make a long story short, Kevin sets up a series of booby traps, resulting in both Harry and Marv sustaining some pretty serious injuries.

But which of the two burglars got off worse?

In case you haven't watched it yet this holiday season, let's recap what happens to the two villains.

First, Kevin shoots Harry in the groin with a BB gun.

Then Marv, very smartly, decides to investigate where the shot came from, and gets hit square in the forehead.

After splitting up, Harry slips and falls on the icy front steps.

While a similar fate befalls Marv in the backyard.

Next, Harry burns his hand when he reaches for the white-hot door knob.

And Marv gets a hot iron to the face.

When Harry finally gets inside the house, the top of his head gets burnt by a blowtorch.

Marv struggles to climb the tar-covered basement stairs, only to step on a long nail, causing him to fall again.

Harry gets a face full of glue and, subsequently, feathers.

And Marv climbs through a window, landing feet-first on a pile of glass ornaments.

Both burglars slip and fall again, thanks to Kevin's toy cars.

And they both get hit in the face with paint cans.

Harry trips on a rope, landing hard on his back.

Marv comes close to catching Kevin, but has a run-in with Buzz's tarantula.

The tarantula winds up on Harry, so naturally Marv beats him with a crowbar.

After Kevin escapes to the treehouse, both burglars attempt to climb across the rope connecting the house to the treehouse.

Then Kevin cuts the rope, causing the two of them to crash into the side of the house.

They finally catch up to Kevin at the neighbor's water-filled house.

But just when they think they've won, Old Man Marley shows up and knocks them both out with his signature shovel.

And next thing they know, they're in handcuffs.
