Rihanna Instagrammed "My Bad" After Diplo Revealed She Thought His Music Sounded Like Airport Songs

    Unapologetic.

The internet let out a huge gasp on Tuesday after Diplo recounted the one time Rihanna savagely rejected his music during an interview with GQ, comparing his work to the songs that play at airports:

I think before we're all done, she'll [Rihanna] be on a song of ours. Hopefully. But if not, I don't really care. I played her “Lean On.” She was like, I don't do house music. I face-palmed so hard on that one. Another time I had a session with her, and Future was also invited. The Weeknd was there. Metro Boomin was there before anybody knew who he was. I was so contact high. Future played her, like, 700 songs. It was four in the morning. Finally, I was like, Yo, G, I'm leaving unless you let me play her a song. So I played her a song. And she was like, This sounds like a reggae song at an airport. [laughs] I was like, I'm gonna go kill myself.

After the interview went viral, Diplo tweeted he was fine getting Rihjected because he got to hang out with her for an hour (like, duh):

I'm fine with getting curved just to hang out with her for an hour https://t.co/nTZ2QyV9y2

Well, Rihanna just broke her silence on Airportgate and remained the unapologetic queen we all know by simply Instagramming a headline of the events with a "my bad":

Diplo's gonna have to deal with airplane emojis on his Instagram for the rest of his life, isn't he?
