Tokyo's Underground Water World
This is the G-Cans project (a.k.a. Shutoken Gaikaku Housui Ro, or the Metropolitan Area Outer Underground Discharge Channel) - the largest storm drain on earth. It was built by the Japanese government to protect the city from torrential rainfall, floods, monsoons and tsunamis. Tokyo, you're doing it right.
