1. Watch Paris Is Burning.

Netflix

Ailbhe says: "This iconic documentary is now on Netflix, which is really great, because you can't buy a copy of it on DVD and it's hard to to catch in the cinema. It's about the birth of voguing in Harlem in the 1980s, but also about gender identity, sexuality, and race in America. It's intensely quotable, and the soundtrack is killer."

Watch it on Netflix.

ALSO, the third season of Channel 4's hilarious parenting/relationship comedy Catastrophe is in full swing, so if you haven't dived in there yet, now's the time.

2. Read The Pavee and the Buffer Girl by Siobhan Dowd.

This gorgeous edition of Siobhan Dowd's story about traveller child Jim is brought to life with stunning illustrations by Emma Shoard. It's a quick and lovely read, perfect for whiling away a few hours on a Sunday morning.

3. Listen to the Beef and Dairy Network podcast.

beefanddairynetwork.com

Francis says: "It's a really droll, deadpan comedy podcast which is basically just a spoof magazine news show about the beef and dairy industry. It's surreal and silly – often subtly so – and has an increasingly strong array of UK comedians guesting on it in improvised and scripted skits."
