If You Have A House Full Of Dogs, Check Out These 45 A+ Products

Cleaning solutions, no-spill bowls, pet-safe candles, and products that'll help them entertain themselves so you can catch a break 😅

    1. A ChomChom roller ready to put your regular old lint roller to shame. Forget ripping off sheets till you run out — this collects everything in a neat little compartment you simply empty out.

    Jenae Sitzes / BuzzFeed

Here's more from BuzzFeed Shopping editor Jenae Sitzes (those are her photos above!):

"The tens of thousands of 5-star Amazon reviews are reason enough to add the ChomChom to your cart immediately — but let me add my own personal review to the stack. I've been using the ChomChom for quite a while now, but I took the photos above literally just now to show just how quick, easy, and effective this roller is. It took 10 seconds to rid my velvet couch ottoman (yes, velvet...a terrible cat owner choice, I know) of the hair my two gray kitties are constantly leaving everywhere. It takes a bit of practice to get the hang of using this roller — at first, I thought you only brushed down in one direction, and was confused why it wasn't picking up hair. It's important to do a push-and-pull brushing in *both* directions so it actually pulls the hair inside, which does require you to apply a bit of pressure. Afterward, you'll just dump out the hair that's been trapped inside. The ChomChom is best for large flat surfaces like couches and beds."

Promising review: "I have a long haired German Shepherd aka a 'German Shedder' and two cats so I live with animal fur — nothing I can do about it, or so i THOUGHT. The ChomChom is by far the best way to get rid of animal fur in my opinion. This thing is godlike, it makes fabric look so fresh, works perfectly on my suede couches and leaves that 'soft suede' look on them. It does what it's supposed to do perfectly, and it captures all the hair in an easy-to-clean bin. Works excellent on items like furniture and upholstery/car interior. Items like clothing or curtains need to be held down because of the rolling back and forth motion. I think it would make an AMAZING gift for anyone with pets." —Victor T.

    2. A Dash dog treat maker with room for eight homemade bones so you can treat them *and* their friends to a lil' snacky snack. The compact gadget also comes with recipe guide so you never run out of ideas.

reviewer pic closing the treat maker with the bone-shaped wholes filled with dough

Promising review: "My dog loves the treats made in this maker, and I love the relative ease and speed. I wasn't too crazy about the included recipes, but I found quit a few good ones online. The online recipes make between 36 and 48 treats at a time — very generous — and use common household ingredients. Since I have a very fussy dog, I'm glad I found this." —Diane Mettam

Get it from Amazon for $24.99.

    3. A grooming glove so you can give your pets all the love they desire while covertly brushing away mats and tangles, too. Use it on wet or dry fur (it's great in the bath) and on your feline friends as well.

a reviewer holding the blue glove which is full of white fur

Promising review: "I was pretty skeptical of this goofy looking glove. But I saw it in an article of '21 things you must have for your cat'  and figured, what the heck. My big Maine Coone freaking loves this thing. It is mess free. My favorite thing about it is all of the fur comes off in one piece. It's not messy. And this is half the price than the ones you see at the store in the 'As seen on TV' section. Gonna make it a lot easier to brush my fluffy cat every day." —Breeze

Get it from Amazon for $7.99.

    4. A fence bubble for pupperonis who're just as nosy as their parents. Drama going down between the neighborhood kids?? Your doggos will be the first to know.

Promising review: "My dogs love their window! They are 20+ pounds each and can both get their heads into the window to see what is going on in the front yard. It only took my husband and I a few minutes to install. The acrylic dome is thick and is easy to wipe clean. It’s also made in the USA!" —Shopping Adict

    5. A fur-eliminating broom capable of squeegeeing enough fur from your carpet that if magically animated — you know, like those brooms in Fantasia — it would transform into a Pekingese.

Promising review: "After 14 years together, I finally let my husband convince me to get an indoor dog. He's a 60-pounder now and sheds so flipping much, my husband was a little concerned I'd be filing divorce papers soon because the hair grosses me out. My mother-in-law bought this for me (probably for the sake of our marriage), and I was so skeptical, I didn't use it for about a month. Once I did, I have been amazed at how much this thing picks up even after sweeping with a regular broom, I couldn't STOP using it! The size is able to reach further under chairs, tables, and couches than I could with a broom and reaches places my vacuum can't. It picks up SO MUCH dog hair, I use it twice a day to keep my floors (where our dog normally is throughout the day) clean. I have even used this behind my bedroom dresser to reach YEARS worth of built-up dust that hadn't been touched. I have already bought one for a friend of mine who has several small indoor dogs, and she LOVES this tool, too. She uses it every day. I really like the hand-held small one too for cloth furniture." —Tina

    6. A no-spill dog bowl if your pups try to take a dip in their dish every time you refill it. They are SO dang cute, but man, that gets annoying fast.

Promising review: "This is a lifesaver! My Labrador Retriever is a sloppy drinker like most. Not uncommon to walk away from the water bowl with a mouthful of water that ends up all over the kitchen floor. This is a real danger for me or anyone if I forget and to wipe up the mess. This bowl works great and sure saved a lot of work on my part — love it !" —Brenda K.

    7. A snout-soothing stick that helps with all sorts of nose woes from run-of-the-mill dryness and cracks to overgrowths and hyperkeratosis. The all-natural formula — with hemp seed oil, chamomile, jojoba oil, rosemary, and vitamin E — also includes SPF so it'll protect their snoot from the sun, too.

Natural Dog Company is a small biz that specializes in vet-approved balms, supplements, and other health and wellness solutions for pups.

Promising review: "I won't lie, I was skeptical after seeing this product on a BuzzFeed list of pet product must-haves. Our Skipper has had a dry, scaly nose for so long I thought it was just her nose forever. THREE DAYS. In three days, it was totally different! I only put it on twice a day for three days, and the dryness and flaky scales were gone! It's incredible!" —Lan

    8. A touchless vacuum you can sweep fur and spilled kibble right into. No more song and dance with your dustpan trying to sweep up every last speck of dust.

two models sitting next to a white Eyevac

Promising review: "I love this thing!!!! I have three long-haired dogs and it just sucks up all that hair. I almost did not get it because of a review saying that it got clogged up quick. That is not the case. It compacts the hair and doesn't lose suction. I empty it once a week and I sweep almost every day!" —Christy Sanders

Get it from Amazon for $149 (available in eight colors).

    9. A rake and bin pooper scooper system so just like Tony Soprano, you too can moonlight as a waste management consultant. But in all seriousness, this sure beats having to turn a bag inside out and pick up poop with your hand. 🤮

a model using the rake and bin
    Amazon

Promising review: "This is an awesome pooper scooper. I never thought that I would one day be writing a review about a pooper scooper. Who knew? I bought this on a whim to replace the the garden shovel/grocery bag method I had been using for years. It comes unassembled with a swiveling bucket, a rake, three plastic bags and the handles for both. Assembly is very easy. Before use, you fit one of the included bags inside the bucket while stretching the bag's 'handles' to secure them to the outside of the bucket. The rake allows you to easily pull the entangled doggy gems from the grass or lawn and to shoot them into the awaiting plastic baggie in the bucket. No more bending over to scoop up the canine land mines! Just rake them in the bucket and move the the next target. When you are finished, remove the bag, tie up the ends, and toss in the garbage bin. After you run out of the included bags, you can easily substitute them with any plastic bag. The rake also attaches to the bucket handle for easy storage." —MME

    10. A pet-specific stain remover sure to hide the fact that Sparky and Fido aren't the perfect angels you make them out to be on Instagram. But that's okay, we all make mistakes.

Rocco & Roxie is a family-run small business making everything you and your pet need to live a clean and fun life. From treats to toys, they've got what you need!

Promising review: "I don’t know how I ever survived without this. There’s tons of 'pet stain/odor remover' products out there, but this by far is the absolute best. I cringed paying the $20 for it when others are between $5–$10, but I have NO ISSUES paying now. I foster dogs, some puppies, some older, some not housebroken, and every room in my house is carpeted except the kitchen, which means I have lots of accidents. I spray enough to saturate if it’s a lot of urine, let it soak for 10 minutes, then wipe it up with a hand towel. Then I put a larger towel on top of it if it’s in a high-traffic area until it’s completely dry. It’s taken out every stain and, more importantly, the odor is gone! I will never stop buying this product. I recommend it to everyone who has dogs!" —Shelley

Get it from Rocco & Roxie on Amazon for $18.97+ (available in two sizes).

    11. Or — if you have a carpet cleaning machine — a miracle-working, deodorizing shampoo so freaking good, it'll have your flooring looking like it was just installed yesterday.

This solution works great with Bissell, Hoover, McCulloch, Rug Doctor, Kenmore, and Carpet Express vacuum cleaners.

Sunny & Honey is a family-run small business making cleaning products safe enough to use around pets and powerful enough to get rid of pet stains.

Promising review: "Worth every penny. I’ve bought this product so many times now I have it on auto ship! Saw the reviews and figured I’d give it a try. My cat likes to pee over the litter box and stained the brand new carpet. I used this in my Bissell and it took all the stain and smell out!!! I’ll never use another cleaner." —Wendy

Get it from Sunny & Honey on Amazon for $19.97+ (available in two sizes).

    12. A curved shower attachment that shoots out water in a narrow, contoured spray so you can really get into your bebes' thick coats and effectively wash away the goose poop they had so much fun rolling around in when you let them outside earlier. 🙃

Promising review: "So I was skeptical because I thought 'how is this different or better than my current pullout showerhead?' Well, I dunno how to explain it but this thing was a HUGE lifesaver when washing my dogs. Unlike a regular round showerhead, this is kind of like a stick-shaped deal that gets into little crevices and, also, because it’s a line of water flow instead of a ring, like for humans, you can rinse off near their earlobes and eyes without splashing them. The water pressure is awesome, and the soap washed away so easily. I really love this product and my friends are buying it now, too. I assembled it myself in about two minutes flat lol. My biggest dog is a 45-pound cockapoo with a LOT of freaking hair. This showerhead made my life much easier." —MangoMood

Get it from Amazon for $49.99 (available in two styles that offer different GPM).

    13. A bacon-flavored wishbone chew toy for aggressive chewers who *will* resort to gnawing on your brand-new Converse or the leg of your coffee table if no other options are present.

White dog chewing on the Y-shaped toy
    Amazon

Promising review: "Really didn't think our 8-year-old Aussie would like this. We've tried other brands of this sort of thing and she wouldn't give them the time of day. But when our 12-year-old golden died a few weeks ago, we started letting Olivia sleep in bed with us, and we bought her several toys to try to take her mind off her loneliness. She loves this thing! It's definitely in the rotation of her top three things to chew and play with. And it seems to be safe... I've inspected it and despite all her chewing, there are no splinters or sharp pieces. But the main thing is that she really likes it!" —knb53

Get it from Amazon for $8.24+ (available in four sizes and flavors).

    14. A portable paw washer because you'll be damned if your dogs track muddy prints all over your freshly Swiffered home!

The nifty gadget comes in multiple sizes that work for pups as small as a miniature dachshund and as large as a golden retriever.

Promising review: "This product is awesome. My dog is 100 pounds and he can get stubborn about paw cleaning. He also, however, loves to run around and get his paws muddy. This makes it really easy to clean all four paws and part of his leg quickly and without fuss. I fill it up with some warm water and grab a towel to dry him off, and I’m done in less than 5 minutes, no fuss. Then I dump out the water and rinse off the silicone part inside that rubs on his paws to clean them. I can leave this out to dry and it is ready for next time." —Anthony Rodriguez

Get it from Amazon for $12.98+ (available in three sizes and six colors).

    15. A portable doggie water bottle that's both a bottle and a bowl, because if you're out on a walk and you're thirsty, your lil' buddies probably are too! This makes it super easy to keep them hydrated and you don't have to waste water or energy trying to cup your hands into a bowl for them to drink from.

Promising review: "A must-have for hot summer days! This was a replacement for another brand. I have been using it for about three months. It has more capacity than my other one, which still worked fine, but this one is a clear upgrade. It is good quality and is working well. Easy to clean and dispensing action works well." —Wade Marquardt

Get it from Amazon for $14.98+ (available in two sizes and colors).

    16. A nail file board for pups TERRIFIED of nail clippers and Dremels. With a few treats and words of encouragement, you can persuade them to file their own nails and avoid extra trips to the groomer!

    Etsy / Scratchpad for Dogs

Scratchpad for Dogs is a small biz based in Atlanta. Jen Fleming, the store's owner, came up with the idea after adopting a shelter dog named Ripley who absolutely hated having his nails trimmed.

Promising review: "This is the best, best, best item I’ve ever purchased for my dog, and also my family. Ever since we got our new puppy I spent time regularly with her every day to desensitize her from nail clipping but she still hates it so much. She learned how to use this within 30 minutes and she’s now even in love with it! Every time I pull out this board she knows that there’s something good waiting for her! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!" —Tracy Xu

Get it from Scratchpad for Dogs on Etsy for $46.95+ (available in four styles and three grit levels).

    17. A pressure-activated cooling pad so your puppers can safely join you outside on particularly balmy evenings. It requires no refrigeration whatsoever and it'll keep them 5 to 10 degrees cooler!

Promising review: "I have a pug and a toy fox terrier/Chihuahua mix and they absolutely love this thing. I just leave it sitting on the living room floor and they gravitate towards it whenever they need to cool down (they sometimes even fight over it). Both fit simultaneously if they are in the mood for sharing the space. The mat is tough, too! I don't think their nails can penetrate it." —E Marsh

Get it from Amazon for $32.95+ (available in two sizes and colors).

    18. A plush anti-anxiety donut bed with a raised rim that'll keep your babies feeling nice and secure. The fluffy material also mimics fur, so it feels like they're cuddling their mom.

Promising review: "My dogs love these beds. I love the ease of washing these beds. I love how much they use these beds. I bought one for each of my three dogs. They all use them. They play musical dog beds. I also hate these beds. I hate these beds because they will choose to sleep in them instead of cuddling me! Instead of sitting by me! So only buy if you want your dog to use the bed and abandon you!" — No body

Get it from Amazon for $24.99+ (available in four sizes and 10 colors).

    19. A glow-in-the-dark ball for babies who insist on late-night romps around the backyard. It remains lit for 20 to 30 minutes after just ~5~ minutes of light exposure, so you can fit in a good game of fetch before it loses its magic.

Promising review: "I initially ordered these because my dog loves to play fetch, especially to get her energy out, but by the time I got home from work it is dark outside. I bought these hoping that we could still play fetch in the dark. Sure enough it was the answer I was hoping for! They are very bright and can be seen in the dark. In order for them to be brightly illuminated and glowing, you have to hold them up to a light for a minute or so, but totally worth it. My dog just likes to just chew on them as well. She is an avid chewer, and the ball has not been damaged yet, and she has been playing with them for over a month. Highly recommend!" —Bruce Hathaway

Get it from Amazon for $5.87+ (available in sizes S–XL).

    20. A tub of paw butter that soothes dry and cracked tootsies (and even noses) with a pH-balanced blend of shea butter, oatmeal, mango, vitamins E and F, coconut and olive oils, and aloe vera.

reviewer photo of the jar of oatmeal paw butter

Promising review: "I was skeptical, but this actually worked! I've only put it on my Jack Russell terrier's paws two days in a row, but I can feel an improvement. You don't need to use a ton of it, which is good, because the container is smaller than I expected. If you have a larger pet, I'd advise buying two of these at a time. He has zero interest in licking it, and he will eat anything he thinks is food. He also has some allergies, and this balm does not affect him at all." —Maureen H.

Get it from Amazon for $9.99.

    21. A non-toxic, natural soy Pet House candle if you've washed all of your dogs' beds 20 times, but you still can't get rid of the funk floating around your living room. These babies burn for 60 to 70 hours and feature a proven odor neutralizer that doesn't just mask nasty scents, but gets rid of them. 👋

BuzzFeed editor Elizabeth Lilly has nothing but good things to say about these fantastic candles:

"It's been a few years since I first experienced the powerful-but-lovely waft of a Pet House candle and back then I had a dog roommate (who's quite slobbery). But even a few years later living solo, sans pets, I burn them quite often. They're amazing at quickly canceling out my downstairs neighbor's nightly weed smells (to each their own, buddy) and basically any cooking smell on earth, including onions, Brussels sprouts, garlic, and more. My kitchen is *right* by my closet so canceling out weird food smells is vital. These will forever be my GOAT candle and there are so many scents to keep some variety going." Check out Elizabeth's full review of Pet House candles here.

Get it from Amazon for $22.99 (available in a variety of scents).

The soap lathered up really well, smells amazing and it really works. I will definitely be buying this again." —jdmiget

    23. A slow feeding bowl if your pup is known for scarfing down their dinner and then promptly throwing it back up ~completely~ unchewed for their sibling to eat. 🙃

Promising reviews: "I got this bowl for my Old English Bulldog puppy since bloat is one of the primary health concerns for the breed and she likes inhaling her meals. At first we thought it wouldn't help, but boy were we wrong. No more bloat. The only issue we have found is that the food sometimes gets stuck between ridges and meals now take a bit longer." —Seth

"Absolutely great product. I don't know what else to say, but I love this plate! I have a blue nose pit bull and she would eat fast. After purchasing this bowl, I found that she is eating more slowly and she doesn't choke on her food! Great product for my money. I have had this for several months and it is still sturdy and strong (my dog is outdoors). At first I thought that it wouldn't work, but I was wrong. I'm happy!" —Andy Cruz

Get it from Amazon for $9.99+ (available in three sizes and 12 colors and designs).

    24. A door latch that'll come in particularly clutch for blended pet families. Have a puppy that WON'T stop eating your cat's food or — even worse — their poop?? Pop this on the door and it'll allow your feline just enough room to go in and out of their space while also blocking out their naughty sibling.

    The white door strap

Promising reviews: "Works like a charm!!! I have small dogs and was worried this wouldn't work for them but I decided to try it anyways. So glad that I did! It keeps them out of the poop and it stops them from eating my cats' food. The cats go in and out with no problem! My dogs are approximately 9 pounds. I have a Yorkie and a Morkie. It works great! So glad I purchased!" —Harmony A.

"I was searching for a baby gate with a cat door on it to keep in the doorway to where we keep our litter box and I came across the Door Buddy. It was just what we needed. We need to keep the door open just enough for the cat to get in and out. We were worried it wouldn't be strong enough to keep our dog out, but it is. I like being able to adjust the strap and it is easy to open and close. We really do love our Door Buddy! We are happy, the cat is happy, and our dog's breath is happy. :)" —Brianne

Get it from Amazon for $16.94.

    25. A ChuckIt! ball launcher for pups who are *always* game to make fetch happen. Plus, this way, you don't have to pick up slobbery balls. It's a win-win.

Promising review: "Have had this for over a year and we love it! Our dog loves it more. We have thrown hundreds if not thousands of tennis balls. I just ordered another one because ours broke. It's very durable, but I did want to mention that although we used it all last winter, it looks like it may have a threshold on outside temp. It's 10 degrees here right now and we had left it outside. Just broke when using it. I would just recommend that you keep it in the house when not using it during the winter. The fact that I just bought another one testimony to the product." —EP

Promising review: "These work great for pet hair on beds, furniture, pet beds, dog kennels, area rugs, cars, pretty much anything you can think of! Promising review: We have a high-energy, 50-pound Kelpie-Collie (Australian Kelpie and Border Collie mix) who is ball-bonkers and were looking for something new for her to race after. As a puppy, she had a tug-rope that she loved to chase, and the Jolly Ball fit the bill for a replacement. She is absolutely NUTS about this toy and immediately picked up how to play with it. So far, the Jolly Ball has held up to fetch, tug-of-war, and rigorous head-tossing without issue. The rope is woven cotton, and the ball is a thin but durable-seeming rubber. My only surprise was how large the ball actually was, as I had expected it to be along the same lines of a tennis ball. We got the small size and, honestly, I think it works perfectly for our medium-size dog. Overall, very satisfied!" —AJ

    29. An Alexa-enabled, treat-tossing Furbo so you can show your pups a lil' love even if you aren't home. The cam is also equipped with a barking sensor — it'll send you a notification every time your bbs act up — and two-way audio so you can calm them down.

Promising review: "I was somewhat skeptical this would work, but it has suited our needs really well. We bought it to gradually transition our older dog from being crated to staying out while we are away. Our absolute requirements were: 1. The camera needed to be reliable about staying on the network, 2. We needed to be able to distract and calm our dog if the doorbell rang (that's her trigger), and 3. We needed access by app for several family members. We have been using the app for about a week now and I kept it open all day today while I was at work today. I noticed that my husband fed her a treat remotely while I was logged in, so you don't get booted if another member logs on with the same log-on. Reliability probably has a lot to do with your neighborhood's infrastructure, but our experience has been great. The dispenser works consistently and our dog has learned to come get her treats when she hears it after initially being afraid of it. The alerts told us at one point that she was howling and we talked to her remotely and gave her a treat. She barked a bit more but calmed down after that. Listening into the room isn't very audible above barking, but we kind of prefer that for privacy. All in all, this has been an A+ for us. I've had an aging dog before and it is awful worrying if you should go to work when they aren't feeling well. I can see this being really valuable for that kind of situation, too." —SheShopsOnline

Promising review: "My pup has pretty bad seasonal allergies leading to itching, flapping, and licking. The vet recommended we give him allergy medicine two times a day...well, this dog can smell a pill in the middle of a cheese wad and figure out how to eat the cheese, and spit out the pill. So, we have to crush up his pills and mix them into peanut butter. I was tired of using our human plates to complete this twice-daily ritual, so I found these. I figured it would be worth a shot and, at a minimum, he would have his own 'plate' for medicine time. He LOVES these things. I mix up the concoction and smear the peanut butter on one of these, and he's engrossed for at least 30–40 minutes. No more begging us for our breakfast. No more licking his paws all day. No more boredom. I was highly skeptical of this, but I've seen it in action and I can promise you it works." —Elizabeth

Promising review: "I love this, it’s the second one we bought. I found the first one at a dog show and was a little skeptical, but thought we’d try it because I have two pups afraid of baths and who hate getting brushed. It has worked great with peanut butter and fat free yogurt. I will say the key is to freeze them, hence the need for two...but also be careful with the suction cups, they work very well, but my puppy bit the corner off one, it still works but looks silly." —Shortcake

    32. A bag of Pill Pockets if your pup has outsmarted your "hide it in a piece of cheese" ruse and is now refusing to take their meds.

Promising review: "OK, so my dog can sniff out the tiniest pill in her food be it a piece of chicken, peanut butter, etc, etc, I have tried them all. My vet told me about these and I honestly didn't think they would work, since nothing else I tried had worked... well, I did give it a try and THEY WORK! She actually is excited when I open the Pill Pocket package, she has not sniffed out any pills and gobbles them up. Seriously, if you have a picky dog, give these a try. My dog is a lab mix, has to take thyroid and gabapentin pills, along with the occasional antibiotics, etc. She is elderly and has various health issues." —SoCalJules

Promising review: "My mini Dachshund LOVES anything that squeaks! I was a bit skeptical but as soon as I opened it and squeezed it he went wild. I love that he can chomp away and I can't hear a thing. Will be ordering more to replace some of his other toys. Great buy!" —Megan Johnson

BuzzFeed editor Abby Kass just picked one up for her family's pup and here's what she has to say:

"My family's dog LOVES squeaker toys. She squeaks them over and over and over again and especially loves to put on a little show when my dad's in a virtual meeting. I was intrigued by this toy when I found it at the pet store and had to give it a try. I wasn't sure how well it was going to work, but Izzy loves it so much. You seriously can't hear a thing. I even took the toy in another room (without her knowing) and started "squeaking" it to see what would happen, and only a few seconds later she came running into the room looking for her toy. This toy is amazing. Izzy can squeak all she wants (as you can see in the gif above), and we don't have to hear a thing. If you have a dog who enjoys squeakers, you need to invest in at least one of these toys."

Promising review: "I have three cats and three dogs which means A LOT of hair, plus my almost hip-length hair. My house is a hair factory. My car is a hair depository. My cat trees...I can't even tell your how often I vacuum them. I have bought multiple items to try and get rid of the hair with little or no success. Then I found this and my life changed. I was skeptical about another highly rated item, but I thought I would try it in the car first. In less than five swipes across my floor mat I had over a handful of hair in a nice little pile. A few more swipes, and you couldn't even tell anyone with hair was ever in my car. I have combination seats, leather on the edge, fabric in the middle. I was careful not to scratch the leather with the glass surface, but I was still able to get the hair out of the fabric without any damage. It got out my hair, the Yorkie hair, the German shepherd hair, even hair I don't recognize. This works! Next, I took it to the cat trees. OMG! I have never vacuumed up that much hair in all my years of vacuuming them. Less then five minutes of swiping the surfaces, and I had more hair than I have ever seen in one place. If you are still reading this, stop and buy this right now. It will change your life." —Rosie H.

The ice cream comes powdered, so you don't have to worry about it melting before it makes it to your house. Just mix the lactose-free whole milk, evaporated cane juice, gelatin, natural maple bacon flavor, and salt with a bit of water, place it in the freezer, and it's ready to go in a couple of hours.

Promising review: "The packaging is absolutely genius! You mix the powdered content with water and then freeze it to get ice cream for your pup. My dog goes absolutely wild for this; it might be his most favorite treat of all! He’s 23 pounds, so I give him about a tablespoon at a time, and he starts freezing after about a quarter of that amount, but he’ll lick it all up and look for more regardless. Some reviewers criticized the product for not being healthy and the nutritional facts not being disclosed well enough, but since this is meant to be an occasional treat and not a staple part of dogster’s diet, I’m not worried about the nutritional value, just about the enjoyment it brings him. We will definitely get more in the future; he’s a very spoiled pooch." —readalot

    38. An LED black light (plus protective sunglasses) if you have a sneaking suspicion that *someone* peed in the house but you're not sure where. On the off chance you're also looking for a way to hunt down scorpions (???) reviewers say it works for that too!

Promising review: "Pet owners everywhere fear their little Fifi or Fido will secretly find a spot (or two or three) where they do their business when either no one is looking or it is raining and they don't want to wade out into the mess. Even the most watchful owner cannot be 100% observant 24 hours a day. Finding the puddle in the house is obvious, but what about the ones you didn't see in moist form? This black light is the perfect solution. It is sturdily built of hefty anodized aluminum and the 100 LEDs produce a wide beam of bright black light (obviously best seen in a darker environment). Ewwwwww I found the spots and have a doggy under tighter scrutiny. Don't go into any hotel with this light unless you want to become a germaphobe. OMG it is EVERYWHERE. Double ewwww. Great light." —Chuck & Karen

How does one throw an entire rug in the wash, you might ask? Well, Ruggable's options come in two parts: the decorative rug cover and a grippy rug pad. When you're ready to give your rug a wash, just separate the two pieces and throw the top layer in the wash. Easy as can be!

Promising review: "I thought it was too good to be true but alas, it wasn’t!! My doggo had explosive diarrhea on my four-week-old rug. I was devastated but knew this was our test. After sopping up the big mess, to the washer it went. The 8x10-foot fit in my standard size washer!! It came out of the dryer just as perfect as the day I got it. Unbelievable!! Super easy to put back on the pad and my living room looks (and smells) great again. Thanks, Ruggable!!" —Jamie M.

Promising review: "This is a well crafted, very easy apparatus to set up. It has provided fun and interest for my big golden retriever on the occasions when we cannot interact with him in person. I especially like the fact that the metal parts are nowhere near his mouth or body — but instead wrap around the tree far from access by him. I am very impressed with the quality and the interest that my dog has shown in it. Tug-of-war is Murphy’s favorite game and my sore wrist is evidence of the frequency of our play. I’m glad to be able to take a break without denying my pal a tug partner. Worth the money! Murphy loves it!" —Dog Ma

He chews on it, scrapes his claws on it, and throws it around the house and it’s still in one piece! Great starter puzzle — now we just have to find something more complicated for him :)" —Erin

Promising review: "This dog toy is perfect if you want your dog distracted or to help mental stimulation! Our dog, Bodie, absolutely loves this toy and he gets so excited when he sees we’ve filled it up. So much so, we used it to help with his separation anxiety. We usually only use it for this purpose when we leave the house so he has something exciting to do that he loves. He’s chewed on it a few times in the process but it is very durable! Great quality and overall great product! Highly recommend!" —Amazon Customer
