Yesterday, it was reported that Benjamin Millepied had allegedly cheated on Natalie Portman.
The claims were first reported in the French magazine Voici. "It was short-lived and it is over," a source told People.
So far, neither Natalie nor Benjamin have addressed the reports, but according to People's source, the couple plans on staying together, despite Ben's scandal.
"He knows he made an enormous mistake and he is doing all he can to get Natalie to forgive him and keep their family together," the insider said. "Natalie is incredibly private and has no intention of playing this out in the media. Her biggest priority is protecting her children and their privacy."
Natalie and Ben met when he was hired to choreograph her 2010 film Black Swan. Reflecting on the moment with SiriusXM, Natalie recalled being captivated by his personality.
"I was in dreamland," Natalie shared. "We had a whole, like, he was teaching me to dance. You know, one of those romantic [stories] … It was definitely exciting and fun. It was beautiful. I don't know about instant. It was like I really got to know him and that was when it seemed like, 'Oh this is the person.'"
The pair wed in 2012 and share two children: 12-year-old Aleph and 6-year-old Amalia.
