1.Tell us a little about yourself, where your from, grew up, what H.S./College you attended etc.
-First off, I'm going to keep this interview relatively short and sweet. The tell all auto biography will come much later in my life, or may not be written at all. Also, if you are judging me based on my grammatical errors, go screw yourself.
2. What inspired you to be an artist/entertainer? Early experiences worth sharing?
-I've always been a performer. My grandmother used to call me Jim Carrey. My career path was set in stone after I started training at the Governor's School for the Arts. After that, I've hustled to get every job that I've achieved. I know the value of a dollar.
3. Talk about a time where you have faced adversity/conflict and have triumphed.
-Even though I come from middle class white privilege, I've had to bust my ass on everything I've done. I could go into detail about how I became independent at the age of 18, my dysfunctional family life and upbringing, or how I continue to fight and hustle every day of my life but that doesn't matter because it's all in the past. THIS IS THE PRESENT MOMENT AND IS ALL THAT MATTERS. I'm a champion.
4.What do you believe sets you apart from other artists/entertainers?
-I believe that everyone is born phenomenal, but many people settle for average. I am relentless when it comes to pushing myself to be better and better. If anything sets me apart, it's my drive and ambition. It sure does pay off.
5. Do you have other interests or hobbies?
-LOL. I'm a workaholic. I find work to be the most interesting and exciting. Some hobbies include making my own music, writing raps/songs, and yoga.
6. Any projects you have out or currently working on?
-Currently working as a lead role in the new Off Broadway show, Seeing You, located at 14th and 10th in Manhattan (www.seeingyou.nyc); co-founder of a production company (can't officially say the name yet), and we have one film in post and two scripts being developed; possibly a project to be shot on the west coast (can't officially confirm yet); starring role in the series "DUELS," now available via the BLACKPILLS app on the App Store or Google Play Store (www.blackpills.com).
7. Where would you like to see yourself in 5 years?
-Having a place in both LA and NYC. Working on bigger budget films on both sides of the table. Continuing to learn all that I can about all forms of my craft. Oscar, Emmy, Tony, etc. Then after I achieve it, to KEEP GOING!
8.What advice can you give to aspiring artists/entertainers?
-Grind until your blue in the face...and then continue to grind. Don't throw away your shot. Keep hustling and going after what you want. Also, create your own work! Don't wait for the opportunity to fall out of the sky. YOU make the opportunity!
