What Has Donald Trump Said About You?
Trump has a long history of commenting on women and their bodies. Other comments include his assertion that “a person who is flat-chested is very hard to be a 10” and telling a female Celebrity Apprentice contestant “that must be a pretty picture, you dropping to your knees.”
Trump offered this insight while blaming his black accountant's work ethic for financial difficulties in 1991. More recently, Trump has said: “I have a great relationship with the blacks. I've always had a great relationship with the blacks.”
Trump opened his campaign with this assessment of Mexican immigrants. He followed this up several months later by tweeting an image of himself eating a taco bowl: “Happy #CincoDeMayo! The best taco bowls are made in Trump Tower Grill. I love Hispanics!”
Trump was quick to place blame for the San Bernardino shooting on America's Muslim population. He has also supported a database for tracking Muslims in the US, shutting down mosques, and temporarily banning all Muslim travel to the US.
Trump followed up his comment on a black employee's “laziness” with this statement on his accountant preferences. He later went on to address the Republican Jewish Coalition: “I’m a negotiator like you folks were negotiators. Is there anyone in this room who doesn’t negotiate deals? Probably more than any room I’ve ever spoken.”
Trump once likened his opposition to marriage equality to his distaste for certain golf clubs: "A lot of people — I don’t want this to sound trivial — but a lot of people are switching to these really long putters, very unattractive. It’s weird. You see these great players with these really long putters, because they can’t sink three-footers anymore.”
Trump offered this comment at a South Carolina rally, jerking his arms and angling his hands in an apparent impression of a New York Times reporter's disability.
Trump has frequently expressed his views on parenthood, including stating that employee pregnancy is inconvenient for business, discussing his involvement in child-rearing, and laying out the roles men should and should not play in parenting.
Trump has commented about many notorious world leaders, including Saddam Hussein, Kim Jong Un, Muammar al-Qaddafi, and Vladimir Putin. Among these was his belief that the world would be “100%” better if Hussein and Qaddafi were still in power.
