"As a reader who’s built a sizable book collection, I was instantly drawn to this bookplate stamp. I loved the idea of making my copies really my own in this regal way. Much cooler than simply writing your name! It feels so official stamping every single book. Can you imagine? Decades later, when my descendants look through my home library and see all my books stamped like this, how splendid that would be? I’ll tell you: very." —Nusrat Sultana

"Random canvas totes may come and go, but nothing beats having a permanent, go-to bag. I've had this since college when I used it to carry my heavy load of books, my laptop, and other English major paraphernalia, but it's transitioned flawlessly into my adult life where — OK — I still use it to carry books and my computer. The leather is getting a lovely patina and the structure of the bag is as strong as the day I got it. It has one zippered interior pocket which is perfect for keys, cards, or any other tiny necessities. I received this as a gift, so I can confirm that it makes a good one! My bag is even monogrammed, which made the gift all the more special. (You can add monogramming to almost any Madewell leather or denim item for $10 or for free if you're a Madewell Insider!) If you can't spring for this wondrous tote now, I absolutely recommend putting it on your wishlist." —Rachel Dunkel

MingsBings are created by Ming Tsai, a chef, entreprenueur, author, James Beard award winner, Emmy winner, and host of Simply Ming on PBS.
"In 2017, Ming's wife, Polly, was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and decided to go vegan in hopes of lowering inflammation. Ming realized quick vegan meal options were severely lacking, so he sought to create his own. He started with a veggie patty and now has three varieties of MingsBings! It's also worth knowing that profits are shared with Family Reach and Dana-Faber Cancer Institute, packaging is designed with minimal environmental impact, and the vegan patty creation process uses less water, land, and production than meat.
"They're vegan and gluten- and nut-free. Oh, and they are FREAKING DELICIOUS. I've tried most all flavors at this point and they're so easy to heat up, which is great news if you have an air fryer! The one shown her is a Veggie-Filled Bing, which I ate late-night after a few min in the air fryer." —Elizabeth Lilly

"The biggest benefit of this deshedding/grooming glove, is that I can just pretend I'm going in for a normal petting session and my cats really enjoy it! That's because the glove has 225 soft silicone tips that not only remove fur and dirt, but give your pet a lil' massage. Since the glove is so flexible, I can also scratch under their chin, behind their ears, and on their bellies (yes — they're a special breed that enjoys that) just as I normally would. And at the end, I'm left with a ginormous mat of fur that just peels right off the glove without any effort." —Chelsea Stuart

"I received THREE separate boxes of Liquid Death for my birthday this year because I talk about this stuff so often, whether people want to listen or not. This is marketing genius, I'm a sucker for fun packaging, and the water is...TO DIE FOR. I also have/love...their merch. Love it." —Mal Mower
Promising review: "Let me start by saying that I have waited ages to for them to make sparkling death. Man, was it worth the wait. I can feel each bubble of cold, aggressive carbonation smash the face of my thirst to a pulp. The drink is even better when used in cocktails as a substitute for club soda or seltzer water. 10/10, I would buy again." —Haunt hero

Grace Eleyae is a Black woman–owned business helping people protect their hair in style.
"This satin-lined cap actually smooths my hair and shields me from my kryptonite (💦) — basically, it delivers on all its promises and also picks up my flat iron's slack. The two I own both have adjustable strings on the back so I can tighten it when I'm using it for bed or loosen it when I'm wearing it outside. After having this cap for two years, I've noticed so many other benefits: My hair is shinier, longer, feels healthier, and has less breakage. Even on days where the humidity is higher than the temperature, my hair stays perfectly coiffed 💅🏾." —Chantel Turner

All of the sauces are vegan! Hooray! Fly by Jing was founded by Jing Gao, globally renowned expert on Chinese cuisine creating delicious products inspired by her hometown of Chengdu.
"I'm a sucker for sauces and spices, and Fly by Jing has soared to the top of my pantry must-haves. Founded by Jing Gao, Fly By Jing is inspired by the flavors of her hometown of Chengdu, China. If you love Sichuan food (or any heat to your food *period*), you'll love this lineup. Pictured above is the Mala Spice Mix a savory-spicy powder that is truly good on everything from beef bowls to roasted cashews. My other favorites are the Zhong Sauce (great for marinading and dipping) and the Sichuan Chili Crisp (also good on everything, even ice cream). Go ahead and just buy the trio." —Kristina Bornholtz

"This is by far my most beloved coat in my entire closet. The color is super versatile and it feels like I'm wrapped in a comforter when I wear it. It's so comfortable but the quilting makes it feel more stylish even though it feels like you rolled out of bed (in a good way). I will literally protect this coat with my life and pray it makes it until I'm old and gray. This does run on the bigger side!" —Ali Faccenda

The moisturizer is fragrance- and oil-free. It's also hypoallergenic and noncomedogenic.
"Since the spring, I've been dealing with stress acne that I never had before in my life. I resorted to an acne cleanser and spot treatment but those products are typically drying (because they're literally meant to dry out the blemishes) SO this moisturizer has been super key for ensuring my skin doesn't dry out while I try to clear up the pimples. Aside from it living up to its 24-hour hydration promise (game changer), it has also never broken out my sensitive skin and actually helps soothe the many skin irritations that I experience. In short, it's my holy grail and Cerave better not ever stop making it. 😊" —Marquaysa Battle

Hot N Saucy is a Black woman–owned and NYC-based small biz that has some super-flavorful sauce options.
"I've had this sauce over eggs, with grilled chicken, and with plant-based breaded "chicken" pieces seen here. It hasn't disappointed for anything! I'm somewhat obsessed with hot sauce and have five in my fridge at any given time but find myself reaching for this one often. The beet gives it a sweet twist and the Fresno still gives it a bit of a kick that's not *too* hot. (Sometimes I like stuff that's too hot, but people that are OK with medium spicy would be happy with this.)" —Elizabeth Lilly

I got them back in March and even though there haven't been any events or nights out to show them off, I've still found a way to wear them ALL the time. I really can't recommend her work enough. "I am of the opinion that Universal Standard has created the perfect T-shirt. I've owned two for roughly a year now and they are just superb. They're made from a really substantial, super soft cotton with a nice blend of stretch and structure. They're super size inclusive, are available with both crewneck and V-necklines, and are holding up great after a year of regular wear and washing (I line dry them). "I love Doughp! The cookie dough is so amazing raw, that's it's pretty rare for me to actually take the time to bake it. I love being able to keep a pint of Doughp in the freezer and always have the ability to bake a cookie or two when the craving hits. This is sure to be a hit with anyone who used to buy the Pillsbury cookie dough tubes from the grocery store and eat it like a Go-Gurt." —Bek O'Connell

"A skincare product has never so quickly impressed me like this serum did. One pump, day and night, and within a few days I was catching a makeup-less cheekbone glow in the mirror that *definitely* never was happening before. But then I started taking my new juicy skin for granted. When I ran out I debated if I needed to order more, but my skin quickly told me that wasn't an option. Within a week I was looking dry, dull, and my cheeks started feeling more textured. I ran back to this serum and it welcomed me back with open arms. Now I plan to never be apart ever again." —Danielle Healy

"I found this on Etsy and immediately purchased it for my home. There is no kid in my home. Did I need an ABC board book? No. Did I need an ABC TATTOO board book? Yes. Yes I did. I have it on display in one of my decorative bookshelves and it looks equal parts daring and darling. I have an ~inkling~ you'll love it as much as I do." —Mal Mower

"I own these pants and can attest to how truly wonderful they are. It's kinda hard to describe the material (if you own any MeUndies products you'll know what I'm talking about), but suffice it to say they are without a doubt the comfiest, coziest lounge pant I own. You know how nice it feels when you sink into soft bedsheets for the first time after shaving your legs? It feels like that every time I slip into them. Ask me when the last time I washed them was? *shrugs* I have no idea! What I do know is that I really love these pants. The one bad thing I have to say about them — and I'm being really nitpicky — is that the sizing is really weird. Even the XS is quite roomy (and I'm not tiny by any means), so I'd suggest sizing down!" —Melanie Aman

"This massager is everything I never knew I needed. I can feel it shaking every drop of tension out of my body. It's great. I only use this for about a minute on every muscle group, but it still makes a difference. Plus, the size makes it easy to store and carry." —Christine Forbes

"I find these Nexcare patches check all the boxes — they are really absorbent, stay on well, and are transparent enough to wear in public (I feel like they're often even less noticeable than the zit itself!). One box comes with two different sizes, so just find the one that fits the zit, pop it on, and go about your business! They're super gentle and don't hurt like popping a pimple can. The pic on the right was taken after leaving the patch on overnight, which is how I find them to be most effective. They need several hours to really knock out a blemish. I also use them during the day, but often find I take them off too early. They also work best on pimples that are already a little bit open — a sucker that's not quite ready to pop won't usually yield results as dramatic as this. Still, putting on a patch during the day or on a non-open zit can still help an acne emergency. I find that they mask the zit a bit and help prevent you from picking at it or making it worse. If nothing else, the blemish is usually a little less huge and swollen when a patch comes off. Check out my full Nexcare pimple patch review." —Katy Herman

"As someone who isn't a big fan of false lashes (the glue irritates my eyes and I'm terrible at applying them) this budget-friendly holy grail does the trick for both lengthening and volumizing my lashes. After you've given it a minute to dry, it lasts all day long and doesn't smudge or fade. It seriously gives the effect of false lashes, without the discomfort." —Kayla Boyd

"I'd wanted something from The Tiny Tassel — a Black woman–owned, Charleston-based small business specializing in super whimsical and smile-worthy handmade clothes and accessories — for ages. I finally ordered these adorable earrings after including them in a roundup of stylish things from Black-owned businesses. They're such a cool twist on classic hoops and I wore them with several different outfits as soon as I got them (they really stand out on video calls!). They perfectly combine several of my favorite fashion things: statement earrings, scalloped details, acrylic tortoiseshell, and a gorgeous lavender hue (can you tell from this post that I like purple??). My one note of caution is that the tassels can come off if you tend to play with your jewelry like I do, but that is totally my fault. Honestly, even if I eventually lose all the tassels, they'd be great plain (or not-so-plain) hoops!" —Katy Herman

"I use my Porter Bowl basically every time I bring my lunch to work. The lid vacuum seals tightly, and I've never had a problem with leaks. It's both microwavable and dishwasher-safe which is obviously a huge win in my book. And it just feels nice to eat lunch out of a real piece of dishware, rather than flimsy plastic. I have the ceramic version and haven't had any problems with scratching. It's rubber coated, so it's easy to travel with and doesn't slide around." —Rachel Dunkel

"It works on both old and new stains (including red wine!), and on any color-safe fabric that you can safely wet with water (read: not dyed silk or wool, probs, or anything that says 'dry clean only'). I recently used this on a mystery stain in the lining of an old purse and worked like a charm! I did end up spraying, agitating, then letting it dry twice before I got the whole stain out, but that had more to do with the various folds in this purse lining than the product, I think. The key is to use enough of the product, then to gently agitate it with your fingers — then stains really do vanish in front of your eyes." —Natalie Brown

"It also layers beautifully with other chains without tangling. I love this locket because it features a nice-sized stone for the price. Plus, pearls are perfect for spring and summer — it's the birthstone for summer. Even with long nails, I didn't find it difficult to open the latch. This is one of my go-to everyday jewelry pieces." —Christine Forbes

"I have this blanket in the neon green and it's so fun! I like that it's different from my typical throws — and that it has MY initials on it so my husband or sister can't steal it. It really is incredibly soft but doesn't make me feel overheated. Definitely worth the splurge." —Heather Braga
