    The Color Of 2014

    Every year Pantone comes out with a color of the year. For 2013, that color was emerald. Now that we are slowly coming closer to the new year the color of 2014 is “Radiant Orchid”.

    Pantone said, "While the 2013 color of the year, Pantone 17-5641 Emerald, served as a symbol of growth, renewal and prosperity, Radiant Orchid reaches across the color wheel to intrigue the eye and spark the imagination. Radiant Orchid inspires confidence and emanates great joy, love and health. It is a captivating purple, one that draws you in with its beguiling charm."

    The color is a great indicator of what will be popular this year not only in fashion, but also in advertising as well. The color has been featured for 2014 fashion shows already and we will probably be seeing more of it in the new year.
