On the heels of a successful foray into the live musicals, NBC is looking to keep their high ratings going and have announced that they will be doing another one, this time it’s Peter Pan.
The cast for this new production haven’t been announced yet, but the musical will be live on TV on December 4, just in time for the 2014 holiday season.
But, there is even more to look forward to.
NBC has announced that it will be doing a new show as a re-imagining of “The Wizard of Oz”, but don’t expect it to be like the classic movie. In the new show, Dorothy will be 20 years-old and Oz will be more along the lines of “Game of Thrones”.
Katherine Heigl will also be back in the TV game with a new, untitled show where she will star as a CIA analyst whose job is to debrief and strategize with the president.
