There are many sounds that instantly transport millennials back to their childhoods, like AOL's "You've got mail" and the ear-splitting THX logo.
YES, I'M TALKING ABOUT THAT CLICK-CLACK NOISE THOSE LOLLIPOPS IN CLEAR WRAPPERS MADE WHEN THEY HIT YOUR TEETH.
You know what I'm talking about, right? The simple-yet-magical lollipops that you never actively bought, but that you somehow always ate throughout your childhood?
Remember hearing that hypnotic sound as you spun the lollipop around in your mouth while waiting in line at the bank with your parents on a Saturday?
Or remember hearing that light click-clack while waiting at the salon for your mom to get done with her haircut?
Or remember hearing that calming sound while you waited at the car wash? Or the doctor's?
Well, I guess I'm just here to say that THAT is the most iconic noise of our collective childhoods.
I'm also here to say that it really freakin' hurt when one of them got a little too sharp and stabbed you in the mouth.
Omg, yes. I definitely remember those lollipops.Nah. But I'll tell what was the sound of my childhood in the comments.I want a lollipop.
