The simple answer is that when the film is shown on ABC Family or TBS, Martin Freeman's scenes are completely edited out thanks to those ~totally sexy~ almost-porn scenes between John and Judy.

So, for example, say there was someone who had only ever seen the movie on cable TV and not on DVD, it might come as a big shock to realize that there's an entire storyline that exists that you never knew about.
