Response to 5 Types Of OCD Friends You Know And Love:
Obviously, I’m repeating what’s been said, but this article is super offensive. It drives me nuts that society seems to think OCD isacute quirk, and that every Tom, Dick and Sally can “empathize” with you when you suffer from OCD because they also like to organize their CDs alphabetically. That’s not what real OCD is like. We should be trying to spread awareness, not misinformation. IfIbusted out with “Omg,Iam so schizophrenic!Italk to myself while I’m driving all the time!” I’m pretty sure that people wouldn’t look at it the same way.Iwould be flamed. So why is what ppl think OCD is suchasocially desirable disorder!?
