Spiked Hibiscus Cooler

This spiked spin on an agua fresca with Captain Morgan is the perfect way to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month...or any occasion!


1⁄2 cup dried hibiscus flowers

1 & 1/2 cups water

1⁄4 cup sugar

6 ounces Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum (1 & 1/2 ounces for each serving), divided

2 cups sparkling water, divided

4 limes, plus extra for garnish


1. Place hibiscus flowers, water, and sugar in a small pot. Place pot over high heat and bring to a boil. As soon as the water boils, turn off the heat, cover the pot, and let steep for 10 minutes. Strain mixture and let cool.

2. Fill four glasses with ice. Add 11⁄2 ounces Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum, 1⁄3 cup hibiscus concentrate, 1⁄2 cup sparkling water, and juice of 1 lime to each glass. Garnish with a lime round.
