1. Bossman by Vi Keeland

Vi Keeland / Via Facebook: vi.keeland

Bossman by Vi Keeland hit #1 on the NYT Best Sellers list. This sexy office romance also topped the charts on USA Today & the WSJ Best Sellers lists.

My mini-review from July: I read this book a few weeks ago, and my face still hurts from smiling. I swooned (I am not a swooner mind you). This book heated up my Kindle screen and melted my heart. You have to read this one!

Synopsis:

The first time I met Chase Parker, I didn't exactly make a good impression.

I was hiding in the bathroom hallway of a restaurant, leaving a message for my best friend to save me from my awful date.

He overheard and told me I was a bitch, then proceeded to offer me some dating advice.

So I told him to mind his own damn business―his own tall, gorgeous, full-of-himself damn business―and went back to my miserable date.

When he walked by my table, he smirked, and I watched his arrogant, sexy ass walk back to his date.

I couldn't help but sneak hidden glances at the condescending jerk on the other side of the room. Of course, he caught me on more than one occasion, and winked.

When the gorgeous stranger and his equally hot date suddenly appeared at our table, I thought he was going to rat me out.

But instead, he pretended we knew each other and joined us―telling elaborate, embarrassing stories about our fake childhood.

My date suddenly went from boring to bizarrely exciting.

When it was over and we parted ways, I thought about him more than I would ever admit, even though I knew I'd never see him again.

I mean, what were the chances I'd run into him again in a city with eight million people? Then again...

What were the chances a month later he'd wind up being my new sexy boss?

2. Playboy Pilot by Penelope Ward & Vi Keeland

Penelope Ward & Vi Keeland / Via Goodreads

Playboy Pilot hit #8 on the NYT ebook Best Sellers list & #18 on the NYT for ebook & combined ebook/print sales! Playboy Pilot also hit #21 on USA Today's Best Sellers list.

My mini-review from September: I finished this book at 12:57 am. I woke up this morning, and my face still hurts from the perma-grin I had while reading this book. I laughed, I cried, I swooned, and fogged up my Kindle screen with this sexy and fun love story.

I will never think about a LAYover in the same way ever again. Carter and Kendall’s high flying romance flew into my heart, and it now has landed safely on my bookshelf.

There is one thing I dislike about Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland's books’…that they end. I never want them to end. I savor each and every page knowing the end will inevitably arrive.

Be prepared to pull an all-nighter and take the trip of a lifetime. This book is worth losing sleep over.

Synopsis:

Money or love? Which would you choose?

You probably just answered the question in your head thinking it's an easy decision.

For me, it's not. Did I mention it's a lot of money? A hell of a lot.

I needed to go far away to think it through.

As I embarked on an impulsive trip, I hit a detour when I met sexy Carter in the airport lounge. We struck up a heated conversation.

Then, he left.

I thought I'd never see him again.

But fate had other plans.

Surprise! He was the pilot of my flight.

The bigger surprise was the adventure that followed after the plane landed.

Carter was dangerous and always on the move.

Even though our connection was magnetic, I knew it was only temporary.

He would give me tickets, and I would follow him around the world to exotic places.

A bevy of flight attendant exes and rumors about Carter's reputation were never far behind.

I didn't know what to believe.

But I was addicted. Nothing else mattered anymore. And I was going to get hurt. Because a part of me wanted to be the one to finally ground the playboy pilot.

At the very least, he was taking me on a thrilling ride.

All good things must come to an end, right?

Except our ending was one I didn't see coming.

3. Say You'll Stay & Say You Want Me by Corinne Michaels

Corinne Michaels / Via corinnemichaels.com

Say You'll Stay hit #5 on the NYT & #18 on USA Today Best Sellers lists. Say You Want Me hit #3 on the NYT & #18 on USA Today's Best Sellers lists.

Say You Want Me by Corinne Michaels pulled on every emotional heart string. I’m not a swooner. I don’t even like the word swoon and rarely use it. I think I have only swooned over a few fictional men (maybe 4-5). Wyatt and all of his alpha male southern charm made me swoon. He made my heart sing and then explode at one point. I wanted to hate Corinne Michaels for turning my face into a faucet from the ugly cry I had. I went through a half a box of tissues, a maximum strength decongestant, and a double dose of nasal spray before I went to bed. Please know that this is not a depressing book. A few plot twists on the emotional roller coaster ride that Corinne created really got to me. I love when a book does this. Say You Want Me will easily make my 2016 All Time Best Kindle Crack recommendations list. 5+ stars.

My thoughts on Say You'll Stay: This emotion-packed, heartfelt friends-to-lovers romance is absolute perfection! When I was 1/2 through this book, I had to stop. You are probably wondering why I stopped if this book was so good. Honestly, I needed a minute to reflect on my love of reading. Say You’ll Stay reminded me of why I love to read. This book might be my favorite book by Corrine. One-click this one and you are “feels-gasm” closer to reading one of my favorite books of 2016!

4. The Baller by Vi Keeland

Vi Keeland / Via vikeeland.com

The Baller hit #3 on the NYT & #7 USA Today's Best Sellers Lists.

There is nothing like a finding a new book boyfriend and Vi Keeland delivered a touchdown. I know it’s early in 2016, but I can already tell that The Baller is going to be one of my favorite books of the year. This super sexy, heart-warming sports romance was unputdownable. That cover melted my Kindle screen and Brody Easton melted my heart. This standalone romance was the perfect mix of the feels and fun. The Baller might be my favorite book by Vi (and she has written some great books).

Ok… I need to fess up that I helped Vi pick the cover model photo that adorns this cover. This book is as HOT as this cover. ‘Nuff said. Get one-clicking.

Synopsis:

The first time I met Brody Easton was in the men’s locker room.

It was my first interview as a professional sportscaster.

The famed quarterback decided to bare all.

And by all, I don’t mean he told me any of his secrets.

No. The arrogant ass decided to drop his towel, just as I asked the first question. On camera.

The Super Bowl MVP quickly adopted a new hobby—screwing with me.

When I pushed back, he shifted from wanting to screw with me, to wanting to screw me.

But I don’t date players.

And it’s not because I’m one of the few women working in the world of professional football.

I’d date an athlete.

It’s the other kind of player I don’t date.

You know the type. Good looking, strong, cocky, always looking to get laid.

Brody Easton was the ultimate player.

Every woman wanted to be the one to change him.

But the truth was, all he needed was a girl worth changing for.

Turned out, I was that girl.

Simple right?

Let’s face it. It never is.

There’s a story between once upon a time and happily ever after…

And this one is ours.

5. Preppy & Soulless by T.M. Frazier

T.M. Fraizer / Via Amazon

Preppy hit #83 on USA Today's Best Sellers list! Soulless hit #80 on USA Today's Best Sellers list. This best selling series is incredible!

Preppy is absolutely brilliant. I don't know how T.M Frazier does it but this series keeps getting better and better. How is it possible? We morned the loss of Preppy and we begged TM for MORE. Holy shit did she deliver. I'm just full on in love with Preppy, this series and my favorite Evil Ginger author. This series is absolute Kindle Crack.

My thoughts on Soulless: I hoped and prayed that the last book in this series would be as incredible as the other books. My prayers were answered! Soulless was everything I hoped it would be and more. The King series might be one of my all-time favorite MC biker book series. Bravo T.M. Fraizer!

6. Stuck-Up Suit by Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward

Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward / Via Amazon

Stuck-Up Suit Stuck-Up Suit was funny, sexy, sweet and unputdownable. Simply put, I’m in love with this book. SUS hit #2 on the NYT & #4 on USA Today's Best Seller lists!

Synopsis:

It started out like any other morning on the train.

Until I became mesmerized by the guy sitting across the aisle.

He was barking at someone on his phone like he ruled the world.

Who did the stuck-up suit think he was...God?

Actually, he looked like a God. That was about it.

When his stop came, he got up suddenly and left. So suddenly, he dropped his phone on the way out.

I might have picked it up.

I might have gone through all of his photos and called some of the numbers.

I might have held onto the mystery man's phone for days―until I finally conjured up the courage to return it.

When I traipsed my ass across town to his fancy company, he refused to see me.

So, I left the phone on the empty desk outside the arrogant jerk's office.

I might have also left behind a dirty picture on it first though.

I didn't expect him to text back.

I didn't expect our exchanges to be hot as hell.

I didn't expect to fall for him―all before we even met.

The two of us couldn't have been any more different.

Yet, you know what they say about opposites.

When we finally came face to face, we found out opposites sometimes do more than attract―we consumed each other.

Nothing could have prepared me for the ride he took me on. And I certainly wasn't prepared for where I'd wind up when the ride was over.

All good things must come to an end, right?

Except our ending was one I didn't see coming.

7. Love Letter Duet by Callie Anderson

Callie Anderson / Via goodreads.com

I'm gutted. No really... I'm f*ing gutted. When I finally stop crying and my heart stops hurting I'll write a review. This book gave me the world's biggest book hangover (and I loved every minute of it). I read LLD about a month ago and I'm still not over it. This book is not to be missed.

Synopsis:

Our love was fatal.

Weston Carter was all kinds of wrong for a girl like me. He was musician, a womanizer, and a first class heartbreaker.

But our love was epic, the kind people wrote stories about. We fell into it hard, unable to control our feelings.

The first time we met I knew.

Emilia was my love.

My muse.

The woman who owned my soul.

Emilia was perfection.

Two shattered hearts.

Two broken lives.

One fucked up love story.

9. Neighbor Dearest by Penelope Ward

Penelope Ward / Via Amazon

Neighbor Dearest hit #7 on the NYT & #20 on USA Today's Best Sellers lists.

What is a unicorn? There are many definitions.

-A mythical beast

-A newbie start-up company that is valued at $1 billion or more by investors.

-A pair of LuLaRoe leggings that you saw only once and never found them again. You must own these leggings. You can only hope that all of your web stalking pays off and they magically appear again!

Then there is a book lovers’ unicorn. You hope and pray that the new book you start reading from one of your favorite authors has all of this magic. This book has the perfect hero/heroine; it’s sexy, funny, and packed with the ideal amount of heartfelt emotional highs and lows. You find yourself laughing and crying along with the characters. This book is so well written and believable that you can’t fathom that it has to end at some point. This book does exist. Your world is rocked. Neighbor Dearest by Penelope Ward is my unicorn.

Synopsis:

A STANDALONE NOVEL that does *not* need to be read in conjunction with any other book.

From New York Times bestselling author, Penelope Ward, comes a friends to lovers story with sexy new characters.

After getting dumped, the last thing I needed was to move next door to someone who reminded me of my ex-boyfriend, Elec.

Damien was a hotter version of my ex.

The neighbor I’d dubbed “Angry Artist” also had two massive dogs that kept me up with their barking.

He wanted nothing to do with me. Or so I thought until one night I heard laughter coming through an apparent hole in my bedroom wall.

Damien had been listening to all of my phone sessions with my therapist.

The sexy artist next door now knew all of my deepest secrets and insecurities.

We got to talking.

He set me straight with tips to get over my breakup.

He became a good friend, but Damien made it clear that he couldn’t be anything more.

Problem was, I was falling hard for him anyway. And as much as he pushed me away, I knew he felt the same…because his heartbeat didn’t lie.

I thought my heart had been broken by Elec, but it was alive and beating harder than ever for Damien.

I just hoped he wouldn’t shatter it for good.

10. It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover

Atria / Via Colleen Hoover

It Ends with Us hit #5 on the NY Times and #6 on USA Today's Best Sellers lists.

I didn't want It Ends with Us to end. These characters spoke to my heart and soul. I fell in and out of love; my heart hurt and my world was turned upside down by a man named Atlas. This story is so relatable and knowing it's part of Colleen's own story made it even more special. I think Colleen went out of her comfort zone writing It Ends With Us. Sure she has written emotionally charged books before (and I have loved each and every one), but this book had a different vibe, yet was equally as memorable. It Ends with Us catapulted me into a new dimension of heartfelt intensity that left me speechless. With that said, It Ends with Us is not an easy story to read at times, but it’s a story that was begging to be told. Maybe in some ways, this was a cathartic, soul cleansing writing experience for Colleen.

I can’t tell you much about this book without spoiling it. I refuse to take that away from you. You need to experience all of the raw emotion that Colleen harnessed into this book. You don’t want to miss all of the feels in one of the best books of the year. It Ends with Us is absolute Kindle Crack.

Naked Truth: Lilly’s story hit very close to home for me. You will understand what this means once you read this book.

Colleen Hoover: I want to be you when I grow up.

Thank you for writing this book!

Synopsis:

SOMETIMES THE ONE WHO LOVES YOU IS THE ONE WHO HURTS YOU THE MOST

Lily hasn't always had it easy, but that's never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She's come a long way from the small town in Maine where she grew up - she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. So when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily's life suddenly seems almost too good to be true.

Ryle is assertive, stubborn, and maybe even a little arrogant. He's also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily, but Ryle's complete aversion to relationships is disturbing.

As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan - her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.

With this bold and deeply personal novel, Colleen Hoover delivers a heart-wrenching story that breaks exciting new ground for her as a writer. It Ends With Us is an unforgettable tale of love that comes at the ultimate price.

This book contains graphic scenes and very sensitive subject matter.

11. RoomHate by Penelope Ward

Penelope Ward / Via Facebook: penelope.ward

I loved this NYT and USA Today Best Seller! RoomHate hit #4 on the NYT and #4 on USA Today's Best Sellers lists. RoomHate by Penelope Ward is not to be missed.

Synopsis:

Sharing a summer house with a hot-as-hell roommate should be a dream come true, right?

Not when it’s Justin…the only person I’d ever loved…who now hates me.

When my grandmother died and left me half of the house on Aquidneck Island, there was a catch: the other half would go to the boy she helped raise.

The same boy who turned into the teenager whose heart I broke years ago.

The same teenager who’s now a man with a hard body and a hardass personality to match.

I hadn’t seen him in years, and now we’re living together because neither one of us is willing to give up the house.

The worst part? He didn’t come alone.

I’d soon realize there’s a thin line between love and hate. I could see through that smug smile. Beneath it all…the boy is still there. So is our connection.

The problem is…now that I can’t have Justin, I’ve never wanted him more.

12. A Love Letter to Whiskey by Kandi Steiner

Kandi Steiner / Via Kandi Steiner via Facebook

This book gutted me. What an emotional roller coaster ride. There were times I wanted to kick my Kindle...hard. A Love Letter to Whiskey made me want to do shots of whiskey. Whiskey is one of my top reads of 2016! I have a monumental emotional book hangover. By the way, at 80% into this book I decided I would be rereading it again super soon. IT'S THAT GOOD!

Synopsis:

It’s crazy how fast the buzz comes back after you’ve been sober for so long.

Whiskey stood there, on my doorstep, just like he had one year before. Except this time, there was no rain, no anger, no wedding invitation — it was just us.

It was just him — the old friend, the easy smile, the twisted solace wrapped in a glittering bottle.

It was just me — the alcoholic, pretending like I didn’t want to taste him, realizing too quickly that months of being clean didn’t make me crave him any less.

But we can’t start here.

No, to tell this story right, we need to go back.

Back to the beginning.

Back to the very first drop.

This is my love letter to Whiskey. I only hope he reads it.

13. Into the Light & Away From the Dark by Aleatha Romig

Aleatha Romig / Via Goodreads

Imagine waking up in a hospital totally blind, in pain and unable to use your voice? To top it all off, you have zero memory! You are told your name is Sara, and you have a husband. I’m sure you read the synopsis, and you think you might know how this story is going to play out. Nope. You don’t have a clue!

I started reading this book without looking at the synopsis. Ok, I admit I did peek at it a while ago but went in virtually blind about the plot. I figured this book is by Aleatha Romig, so I know I am going to experience some darkish, mind-fuc*ery, an air-tight solid plot, and memorable characters.

I have to say Into the Light might be one of Aleatha’s finest books to date! Once again, Aleatha spins a thickly woven, intricate web infused with mystery, murder, and suspense. I’m still trying to pick my jaw off the floor from the ending. I have said it once, and I’ll say it again, there are only a few authors that make me embrace a cliffhanger ending. Aleatha is one of them. Her writing is simply brilliant. Aleatha is my go-to author when I want a smart, sexy, unputdownable suspense story.

Away From the Dark was equally incredible!

Synopsis (Into the Light):

Sara Adams awakes blind, unable to remember the most basic details of her life, but her darkness seems a blessing when she discovers the terrors of The Light.

Stella Montgomery investigates the news from the mean streets of Detroit, where she’s noticed a disturbing trend: young women are vanishing. When her best friend disappears, Stella digs for answers—despite warnings from her police detective boyfriend—following a twisted trail that leads her through the city’s most dangerous and forsaken precincts. There she uncovers something more sinister than she could have imagined: a shadowy organization known as The Light, led by the enigmatic Father Gabriel.

As Sara struggles to understand her place in the strange world she’s awakened to—an oppressive cult demanding unquestioning obedience—and her feelings for Jacob, the husband she can’t recall and whose harsh and tender attentions confuse and beguile her, Stella risks all to discover the truth. But enlightenment always comes with a price.…

14. Lucas by Jay McLean

Jay McLean / Via Facebook

For existing More Than Series readers/fans: If you have the More series, you are already emotionally attached to Jay’s characters so there’s no need to even look at the synopsis of this book. Why bother? You know what you are getting yourself into and that you are about to embark on an emotional journey. Her stories have a way of embedding themselves in your heart and soul. I know a few fans that have tattoos with lines from Jay’s books. So there is nothing I can say to existing More fans. You are going to devour and treasure this book. Lucas is a spin-off from the More series. Who can forget the Preston brothers? This book is a true standalone, but existing fans will love the way Jay seamlessly tied everything together.

I was about to compare Jay’s writing to Colleen Hoovers, and I remembered an old review I wrote in July 2013. I’ll just re-quote it. “More Than This by Jay McLean is one of those books that will stick with me forever…just like Colleen Hoover’s Slammed and Hopeless.” So buckle up and get ready for a rollercoaster ride of the feels in this emotionally gripping new book from Jay.

For new Jay McLean readers or if you're considering reading Lucas - See above. I think it says it all. Get this book. You might want to plan for a book hangover that will stay with you for a long time.

Synopsis:

His saving grace? Lois “Laney” Sanders, a girl he started to fall in like with when he was just eleven.

A girl who became his best friend, his confidant, his courage.

It took only sixteen clicks and eight seconds for Lucas to realize that his like for Laney had turned into love.

Eight life-changing seconds.

It’s also the exact length of time it took to lose her.

16. Bedwrecker by Kim Karr

Kim Karr / Via Facebook

Bedwrecker was off the charts hot at times, sexy and sweet!

“All I needed was a friend to lend a guiding hand

But you turned into a lover, and, mother, what a lover you wore me out

All you did was wreck my bed

And, in the morning, kick me in the head”

- Rod Steward, Maggie May

Add some Taylor Swift lyrics, and you have the vibe for Keen & Maggie’s relationship in Bedwrecker.

“Loving him is like driving a new Maserati down a dead-end street

Faster than the wind, passionate as sin, ending so suddenly

Loving him is like trying to change your mind once you're already flying through the free fall

Like the colors in autumn, so bright just before they lose it all”

- Taylor Swift, Red

These lyrics. This couple. This book! I LOVED everything about Bedwrecker. I have read and loved all of Kim’s books but the chemistry between these characters and relatable storyline made this book a standout for me. Keen made it on to my book boyfriend list. This book is one-click worthy! Don’t miss this one.

Synopsis:

Every girl has had a broken heart.

Every girl knows love hurts.

Every girl has a story.

This is mine…

My name is Maggie May and I met him under a haze of purple lights. As cliché as it sounds he was tall, dark, and handsome as hell, and I had fireworks in my eyes…literally.

It was New Year’s Eve and beneath the magic of all that glitters and shines, I fell for him and his wicked ways. The way he moved, the way he touched me, the way he brought me to orgasm over and over.

You should know that I don’t believe in love. Fairytales and happily-ever-afters are never anything I’ve dreamed of…until him.

Something changed the moment our eyes met. It wasn’t insta-lust or insta-love, it was simply him and me, and the dance floor at our feet.

The problem is our story ended three days after it started.

But now he’s back.

And he says he’s sorry.

Can I believe him?

Do I want to believe him?

He calls me his bedwrecker…but what if he wrecks me?

17. Torrid Affair by Callie Anderson

Callie Anderson / Via Amazon

Let me start off by saying that if you have a problem with books about cheating, you should avoid this one. BUT if you believe in second chance romances, this book is going to rock your world. This story wasn’t easy to read at times. There was a point where I knew where this story was headed, but it didn’t make it any easier to read. Torrid Affair is packed with heartfelt emotion and felt real and raw. This book ripped my heart out and made me want to kick my Kindle at times. Reading this book was a lot like watching a car accident. You want to turn away, but you can’t. That’s how I felt while reading this Torrid Affair. I couldn’t turn away and put this book down if I tried. I can’t wait to read other books by this author!

18. American Queen by Sierra Simone

Sierra Simone / Via Amazon

I think my Kindle just overheated after reading the last few chapters of American Queen. I might even take up smoking again just to enjoy that after sex cigarette vibe ;) The ending had me craving a smoke until the last three lines. That's all I'm going to say. I want you to go into this one blind and ready for a binge read.

In American Queen, Sierra Simone spun a one-of-a-kind forbidden second chance romance. This wicked political drama is fueled by lust, love and sexy as sin secrets. American Queen is not to be missed.

Synopsis:

It starts with a stolen kiss under an English sky, and it ends with a walk down the aisle. It starts with the President sending his best friend to woo me on his behalf, and it ends with my heart split in two. Until one night in Vegas…

Yeah, you’ve heard this one before. Bad news on the business front, drowning our sorrows in a few too many Harvey Wallbangers, and then I’m banging her. In my hotel room. In her hotel room. Behind the Titanic slot machine at the Flamingo (don’t ask). And before I can make her say “Oh God right there YES!” one more time, we’re both saying yes—the big yes—at a roadside chapel in front of a guy in press-on sideburns and a shiny gold leisure suit.

But it turns out what happened in Vegas didn’t stay in Vegas. And now, my dick doesn’t stay in my pants when she’s around. I try to resist. Honest. But the more we try to keep our hands to ourselves, the more we end up naked again, and the more time I want to spend with her fully clothed, too.

The question now is…do I take this woman to be my ex-wife?

20. The Infidelity Series - Cunning (Book 2) Deception (Book 3) & Entrapment (Book 4) by Aleatha Romig

Aleatha Romig / Via Instagram

Cunning hit #89, Deception hit #107, & Entrapment hit #72 on USA Today's Best Seller's list!

I admit that sometimes I get a little disappointed when a book ends with a cliffhanger. It didn’t happen this time. I was hoping this story wouldn't end. Yeah, I know I sound a little like a plot masochist. Why do I want to torture myself? Why would I want to wait for another book to be released? It’s simple. Romig is a master storyteller, and I can’t get enough of her writing. Cunning, the sequel to Betrayal surpassed all of my expectations. I set the bar pretty high when it comes to this writer. I loved Betrayal, but Romig knocked it out of the park with Cunning. Cunning has all of the elements I yearn for in a romantic thriller. This plot has a multi-layered, highly addictive and contagious mix of mind f*ckery, mystery, and suspense, as well as a whole lot of sexy! This book and this series should be high up on your reading list. Five stars!

Synopsis:

"He owns you. Whatever he tells you to do you do".

One year. No future. A past that won't go away.

Lennox "Nox" Demetri broke his own rule by making a deal. It may not have been directly with the devil, but that doesn't mean Satan himself isn't watching. Was it fate that brought Charli into his life and his bed? What will happen when rules are broken and secrets are revealed?

"New rules...my rules."

Alex "Charli" Collins found pleasure with Nox like she'd never known. That was before she knew his last name. Now that Infidelity is involved and the rules have changed, what will result when real life and fantasy collide?

Is it really cheating if you're doing it to yourself?

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Aleatha Romig comes a sexy, new dominant hero who knows what he wants and a strong-willed heroine who has plans of her own. With classic Aleatha Romig twists, turns, deceptions, and devotions, the depth of this new, epic dark romance reaches new levels and will have readers swooning one minute and screaming the next.

22. Moonshot by Alessandra Torre

Alessandra Torre / Via Facebook

Moonshot hit #8 on the NYT and #30 on USA Today's Best Sellers lists.

Moonshot by Alessandra Torre needs to be your next book purchase. This second chance, forbidden love story was literally unputdownable. I binge read this book in one sitting. Moonshot is about baseball, it’s about love, and it’s wrapped around a murder mystery. This hard-hitting second chance romance is sexy, full of angst and suspense.

Once again, Alessandra delivers another memorable story with a perfectly executed dark twist of an ending Moonshot is “manda-Torre” reading. Get one-clicking. This book is Kindle Crack!

The summer that Chase Stern entered my life, I was seventeen. The daughter of a legend, the Yankees were my family, their stadium my home, their dugout my workplace. My focus was on the game. Chase... he started out as a distraction. A distraction with sex appeal poured into every inch of his six foot frame. A distraction who played like a god and partied like a devil.

Then, the team started losing.

Women started dying.

And everything in my world broke apart.

23. The Other Side of Someday by T.K. Leigh

T.K. Leigh / Via Goodreads

The Other Side of Someday was unputdownable! I'm still thinking about this book after reading it a few days ago. I remember looking at the clock at 2 am knowing I couldn't this book down if I tried. This heartfelt friends to lovers slow-burning romance was funny, sexy and sweet. Don’t put this book on your reading list and say you’ll read it someday…read it today!

The Other Side Of Someday is a fun, sexy story of looking for Mr. Right in a world full of Mr. Wrongs, when Mr. Right could be just next door.

24. Elastic Hearts by Claire Contreas

Claire Contreras / Via Facebook

You can pull and stretch elastic material and it bounces back to its original form. I think some special relationships have some of that elasticity. They can bounce back from heartbreak and then stretch apart, and then grow and come back together again as one. This second chance romance is the epitome of that special type of bounce-back. Nicole and Victor pulled on my elastic hearts strings in this fabulous addition to the Hearts series. I binge read this book in a day. Elastic Hearts is different than other books in this series, but equally just as good! Bravo Claire!

Synopsis:

Victor Reuben.

Most sought out divorce attorney in LA.

Nicole Alessi.

Soon to be ex-wife of Hollywood's biggest star, Victor’s latest client and his boss's daughter.

In such a high profile divorce, they can't afford any extra drama. Luckily, neither one of them has anything to hide.

Unless you count the mind blowing sex they had…

Once…

Twice…

Three times all those years ago.

As long as they leave the past where it belongs, they’ll be fine. But with her wearing those tight dresses and him giving her those heated glances, keeping their hands to themselves is proving to be more difficult than either one of them realized.

It won't be long before the paparazzi start to smell smoke, and where there's smoke...

25. Filthy Rich by Raine Miller

Raine Miller / Via Amazon

Raine Miller and the Blackstone family are back and better than ever. Filthy Rich is the first book in this new series. Caleb and Brooke's story was totally addicting. I couldn't put this book down if I tried. I actually hoped for a cliffhanger (there isn't one) because I didn't want this story to end. I can't wait to read James' and Winters’ story in Filthy Lies which will be released in February. I have a feeling this new series is going to become a favorite.

Synopsis:

Billionaire Caleb Blackstone lives in the glamorous world of wealth and success, with every material luxury. But the moment he sees Brooke Casterley, none of that matters. Caleb is filled with a raw, undeniable need that he can’t ignore…for a girl who is so completely different from everything and everyone he’s ever known.

Only Brooke isn’t looking for love. She knows all too well just how much damage the wrong guy can do. Still, what sane, broke British girl can resist the charms of an incredibly sexy, chivalrous billionaire? What starts as flirtation quickly turns into all-consuming passion. Nothing could have prepared her for the searing heat of Caleb’s touch—or just how much she craves him.

Their whirlwind romance is the stuff of high-society fantasy—but for every moment of pleasure, there is a cost. Past mistakes and tragedy shadow them both…and falling for him might be the kind of trouble she can’t afford.

26. Paper Princess (Book 1) Broken Prince (Book 2) & Twisted Palace (Book 3) The Royals Series by Erin Watt

Erin Watt / Via Instagram

The Royals series hit the NYT and USA Today’s Best Sellers lists multiple times.

I have never read an entire series from start to finish without taking a break in between books. IT'S THAT GOOD! This series reminds me of a wicked combination of movies Cruel Intentions, Mean Girls & The Jerry Springer TV show with a YA/NA vibe. I have to say this series is total Kindle Crack and unputdownable.

Synopsis:

From strip clubs and truck stops to southern coast mansions and prep schools, one girl tries to stay true to herself.

These Royals will ruin you…

He might be right.

27. Author Anonymous by E.K. Blair

E.K. Blair / Via Facebook

This book caused quite a stir in the book world. Everyone was guessing and pointing fingers. So who is Author Anonymous? E.K. Blair isn't going to spill. A promise is a promise.

It started off as character research and idea building for a book. Little did Anonymous know that she was one click away from a collision course that would alter her life forever.

Reading Anonymous' story was equivalent to watching a car crash in slow motion. You need to see what's happening. It’s morbid and a shock to your system. It’s wrong, but it’s a view you can't look away from. The wreckage. The aftermath. The collateral damage. The horror of it all. You want to turn away, but you can’t turn away and not know what happens. That’s how I felt reading while reading this book. I couldn’t turn away and put this book down if I tried. Author Anonymous is utterly unputdownable. I'm still thinking about this book a week after reading it.

E.K. Blair captured the heart and soul of Anonymous’ intense downward spiral into a fantasy world. It's a world that all of us book lovers can relate to on some level. Hell, I have 100 book boyfriends myself. Anonymous’ feelings are served up on a platter. This book is as real and as raw as it gets because it is a true story. The lines of fantasy and reality are blurred. It’s not a pretty story. It’s heartbreaking, scandalous and addicting. The emotions E.K. harnessed on each and every page are a force to be reckoned with. This is real as it gets. If you can't deal with cheating, this book is not for you.

Synopsis:

*An intoxicatingly risqué stand-alone book.

She’s an author.

She’s a mother.

She’s a wife.

She’s a fraud, a woman marked and bound by her own deceit.

Experience the astounding tale of how Anonymous battled through a year of scandals and betrayals, how her world fell from its axis with a single choice, and how she lost herself between reality and fantasy.

This is a stand-alone tangled in lust, heartbreak, and contrition.

*Based on a true story.

28. Dark Notes by Pam Godwin

Pam Godin / Via Amazon

He’s my obsession, my master, my music.

And my teacher.

29. Sweetest Venom by Mia Asher

Mia Asher / Via Facebook

I have been DYING for this book since I read Easy Virtue in 2014. When I found out about the release date, I created a countdown timer on my blog page. Obsessed? I’ll own it. This book was worth the wait.

I will not spoil Sweetest Venom for you but I’ll just say I wanted to kill, smack and hug each of the characters about ten times today. This book was devastatingly heartbreaking at times and pulled on my heart strings repeatedly. I feel a little effed by proxy from spending so such much time with Blaire and all of her “f*ckedupness.” I am probably just suffering from a two book hangover after going on a Mia Asher bender.

I am so happy that Mia took her time writing this book and didn’t succumb to all of the pressure of cranking out a sequel. She had fans, bloggers, and readers bugging the life out of her for this sequel. Sweetest Venom was worth the wait and then some! This sequel was the antidote I needed after the cliffhanger ending in Easy Virtue. Sweetest Venom is total Kindle Crack, and a must read!

Synopsis:

Love is the sweetest venom.

Lawrence

I told her I wanted her body and not her love.

I lied.

Ronan

I fell in love with a lie...

She was beauty and destruction.

Kissing her was a tender song.

Owning her body, a wild poem.

Loving her, my downfall.

But she was mine.

Or so I thought.

Blaire

One man offer me his love.

The other, the world.

'm falling, falling, falling ...

And there's no end in sight.

31. US by Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy

Elle Kennedy / Via goodreads.com

US hit #80 on USA Today's Best Sellers list.

We first met hockey hotties, Ryan Wesley and Jamie Canning, in the friends-to-lovers m/m romance, Him (Book #1). In Us (Book #2), the boys get a dose of relationship reality with all of the ups and downs of living together. It's not easy balancing a career and relationship especially when you are trying to stay on the down-low with fans and nosey teammates. Us is not all hearts and hockey. While Us is packed with a lot of sizzling sexiness and heartwarming passion, this book has its share of depressing moments. The fragility of Ryan and Jamie's relationship felt so real and raw that even I started to get the blahs. I know, I know, it's just a book, but it felt so real! That's how good the writing was!

I have to say that Elle Kennedy and Sarina Bowen scored a winning goal with Him. After reading Us, I decided they get to take home the coveted Stanley Cup! I am praying for a “hat trick” and we get a third book in this series about a gay teammate or something (hint hint can you write one?). I love this series and this writing team! I would recommend reading Him before reading Us to understand the boys' history. One-click this one.

At least apartment 10B is their retreat, where they can always be themselves.
