Yesterday this mural of Taylor Swift popped up in Melbourne, Australia. It was painted by artist lushsux who thought it was timely with “Taylor being dead on the internet and all”.
But someone has since painted over the mural with a Spongebob meme and a reference to Harambe.
Harambe was the gorilla that was shot at Cincinnati Zoo earlier in May, and has now become something of a meme online.
Lushsux isn't bothered about their original art being painted over, and told BuzzFeed "the Harambe thing is pretty funny".
"It's expected that someone will destroy anything you do. He's in my prayers".
