10 Hollywood Marriages That Almost Lasted A Year And 8 That Barely Made A Month

Fame and love don't come easy.

These celebrities may have mastered it when it comes to their careers, but they needed time to learn a thing or two about love. These relationships were so bad they didn't even make it a month.

1. Britney Spears and Jason Alexander (55 hours)

One of Hollywood's shortest marriages ever was between Britney Spears and Jason Alexander. After a blissful 24 hours, the couple barely made it to two days happily married. They got married in Las Vegas in 2004 and only survived 55 hours before getting the marriage annulled. It was like it never happened, besides the recent drama at her wedding to Sam Asghari. 

2. Nicolas Cage and Erika Koike (4 days)

Nicolas Cage sought an annulment four days after marrying Erika Koike in Vegas in 2019, citing that they were too intoxicated and he was unaware that she was in another relationship with another man. Koike was Cage's fourth wife. 

3. Carmen Electra and Dennis Rodman (almost 9 days)

This relationship is a little confusing because though the two got married, Dennis Rodman filed annulment papers nine days after they got married. However, they didn't sign divorce papers until five months later. Their relationship was highly publicized then, as ESPN's docuseries The Last Dance highlighted some very questionable moments. Like Rodman taking a 48-hour vacation with Electra during the 1998 NBA Finals. 

4. Pamela Anderson and Jon Peters (12 days)

This relationship made no sense because we never really knew if Pamela Anderson and Jon Peters were ever married. Sources, including Anderson's rep, confirmed that the two "loved each other" and in fact had gotten married. However, reports showed that she filed for divorce 12 days later. 

Anderson addressed the rumors saying "Pamela Anderson was never married to Jon Peters — it was just a bizarre lunch." Yes, she did refer to herself in the third person. 

5. Tracey Edmonds and Eddie Murphy (14 days)

Comedian Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds' romance ended quickly after the two had a romantic wedding in Bora Bora. Though they got married in French Polynesia, it didn't count on US soil, and the couple decided to split two weeks after confirming they wouldn't make it official in the US. They released a joint statement. 

"After much consideration and discussion, we have jointly decided that we will forego having a legal ceremony as it is not necessary to define our relationship further." 

"While the recent symbolic union in Bora Bora was representative of our deep love, friendship, and respect that we have for one another on a spiritual level, we have decided to remain friends." 

6. Mario Lopez and Ali Landry (18 days)

Mario Lopez royally screwed up by doing the No. 1 thing every soon-to-be groom advises against — cheating on your soon-to-be bride at the bachelor party. 

That's right, Mario Lopez cheated on Ali Landry during his bachelor party, which Landry found out about very soon into the marriage, leading to a quick divorce. 

7. Drew Barrymore and Jeremy Thomas (19 days)

Drew Barrymore was only 19 years old when she married 31-year-old Jeremy Thomas. 

Thomas recalled the 19-day marriage to be a whirlwind. They led two separate lives as Barrymore was on planet Hollywood and Thomas was on planet Earth. 

And these celebrities didn't make it to a year.

8. Chad Johnson and Evelyn Lozada (41 days)

Chad Johnson and reality TV star Evelyn Lozada's relationship was just toxic. After finding a receipt for a box of condoms in his car and addressing the former NFL athlete, Lozada claimed that he had head-butted her. It turned out he was having an affair with a woman while the two were engaged and after they got married. They divorced two months later in 2012. 

9. LeToya Luckett and Rob Hillman (a little over 2 months)

LeToya Luckett and Rob Hillman's relationship was short-lived, and there are no reports on what happened between the two because a clause in the divorce stated that neither party could talk about the other one as a result of the divorce in public statements or on social media. 

10. Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries (72 days)

The infamous marriage was doomed from the start and really seemed like it was all for the show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Kardashian and Humphries divorced 72 days after their marriage, and the relationship turned very sour. Humphries wanted an annulment because he "feels like Kim cheated him out of marriage," but it counted as a divorce.

11. Nicolas Cage and Lisa Marie Presley (107 days)

Nicolas Cage doesn't have the best history in the marriage department. Though this lasted longer than his fourth wife, Cage and Lisa Marie Presley divorced after less than four months together. 

12. Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock (122 days)

The four-month-long marriage was another failed relationship for the Baywatch alum. Apparently, a cameo in Borat caused the relationship to end, as Kid Rock didn't like her being in the movie. But reports show that there was trouble in paradise when Kid Rock failed to visit her on set. 

13. Sophia Bush and Chad Michael Murray (163 days)

The One Tree Hill alum's marriage fell flat very quickly. Though the marriage lasted only five months, Sophia Bush and Chad Michael Murray were still forced to work together on the CW show. 

14. Cris Judd and Jennifer Lopez (218 days)

J.Lo and choreographer Cris Judd met on the set of "Love Don't Cost a Thing," which he directed. The marriage only lasted nine months and was Lopez's second husband. Though the marriage was short-lived, the check wasn't! J.Lo was ordered to pay Judd $14 million in the divorce settlement. 

15. Ojani Noa and Jennifer Lopez (313 days)

Ojani Noa was Jennifer Lopez's first-ever husband, and the couple made it very close to a year. Noa was Lopez's backup dancer, and they got married in September 2001, but Lopez filed for divorce in July 2002. 

16. Corey Bohan and Audrina Patridge (319 days)

After less than a year of marriage, Audrina Patridge filed for divorce from Corey Bohan citing "irreconcilable differences" regarding a violent outburst. The two dated for eight years, and the relationship was tumultuous. She alleged in her memoir Choices: To the Hills and Back Again that he got physical with her while she was holding their daughter, Kirra. 

17. Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus (8 months)

This relationship really seemed like it was built to last. Unfortunately, Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus only made it eight months. While the two met on The Last Song, Cyrus referred to the marriage as a "disaster."
