    1. A tub of dog ear cleaning wipes made with aloe and eucalyptus that have more than 19,000 ~5-star reviews~ from dog lovers who swear that it has upped their pup's weekly maintenance routine.

a before and after photo of the inside of a dog's ear. the first photo is dirty with build up and debris and the second is clean with no sign of any dirt or debris

Promising review: "Excellent product to keep your dog's ears clean. Icky, black/brown wax builds up in my Mercy's ears. She used to whine, paw at her face and ears, and shake her head ferociously. We use these to avoid that and to keep from having to go to the vet for antibiotics and medicine. These ear wipes keep her ears clean so that she doesn't get those infections. Mercy hates the ear medications from the vet, but she submits to these. The wipes are cold and wet, but she gets a treat after and feels better. Plus, they smell so clean!" —Amber Werner

Promising review: "I have purchased this product over eight times. I love it!!! I noticed results after about two weeks of putting it on once a day. Every time I get a new pimple, I put this on after the pimple heals and it gets rid of the scar. I use it on my face, arms, back, and chest. Recently I started using it on my bikini area as well to get rid of ingrown hair scars. I recommend this product to everyone I know who has acne scars." —Amazon Customer

    3. A cleaning gel for those nooks and crannies in your car that never seem to get clean. The best part is that you can reuse it over and over.

A person using the cleaning gel

Promising review: "If you like it not just clean but super clean, get this. I got this to detail my car. There are a lot of corners inside the car that are hard to clean. This is fun and definitely will give you a lot of satisfaction after you are done. You cannot wash this so instead of using the whole pod, I just pinch and use part of it. I did not put the used one back since I do not want to contaminate the pure clean ones. I used the portion till it is too dirty and then I just threw it away. It will clean the tiniest place for you. Very satisfying." —Lovelearn

It helps relive stress and anxiety, just run your fingers up and down it or your nails and concentrate on the texture and feel. I would highly recommend these. 6. Reusable dry-erase sticky notes you can place all over the house and simply rinse the back to make them sticky all over again. They're great for leaving notes, reminders, or labeling. Stick them on stainless steel, cabinets, glass, or plastic.,

Promising review: "This is one of those things that you think, 'How did I live without these?!!?' OK, maybe not that extreme but they are brilliant. In addition to not destroying the planet, they have an added benefit — they lay flat all the time! Sticky notes often curl up at the bottom after a while. These don't! And they really do stick to everything. I have them on laminated drawers in my office. When you first peel off the backing it almost seems like they're not sticky enough but THEY ARE. So good. So so good. I also love the larger sizes. Bigger than a sticky, but smaller than, hmmm, well...they're just right! Buy them. Be happy. That is all." —Amazon Customer

    7. A smart double pan because despite many attempts to improve the flick of the wrist, your pancakes and omelets never come out perfect. No more misshaped entrees.

Promising review: "I had a similar pan for years but the handle eventually broke off and I was really missing it. This pan is even better, because the top will stay open at a 90-degree angle while pouring in pancake batter or whatever. That is a major improvement, especially since I use it most often when making pancakes. Anything that needs to be flipped is great in this pan. I often make grilled cheese sandwiches in it. It's not good for volume cooking, but I only cook for one or two so it is fine. Another improvement over my old one is that the two pieces fit tighter together when closed, so batter or eggs or whatever don't have a chance to leak out when flipping. Finally, the price was very reasonable." —Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $14.99+ (also available in two brown).

    8. A nose wax kit that despite the amount of hair it pulls out, is an easy and painless way to remove excess amount of nose hair, if you'd like to breathe a little easier.,

Promising review: "I highly recommend this product. The instructions were super easy to follow and it worked perfectly! I was a little nervous to pull the sticks out once the two minutes were up, however it didn't even hurt. I expected it to hurt momentarily and my eyes to water, but neither was true! If you wanna get rid of them pesky nose hairs...snag this product!!!" —Julie J.

A before, during, and after photo of a metal water canister rusted, bubbly, and then clean after using the tablet

Promising review: "I seriously can't believe how well these little tablets work. I had the most disgusting Hydro Flask coffee mug — I tried everything. Bottle brush, different kinds of soap, vinegar, EVERYTHING, and there was still a seemingly impenetrable layer of black sludge inside. It grossed me out so much that I bought ANOTHER Hydro Flask to replace it. Now eventually they both got black inside, so I tried these little magic tablets. I let a tablet sit in each of my mugs for an hour or two, and the black sludge rinsed out COMPLETELY, without even scrubbing. They look brand-new. What a magical product. No weird smell or taste afterward, either. I liked it so much I used it on another Hydro Flask I use primarily to hold my Bloody Mary mix in the fridge. I couldn't put anything else in it because it would always taste like spicy tomato juice. Bottle Bright to the rescue! No residual smell or taste anymore. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING." —Amazon Customer

    @noyahcosmetics / Via

Promising review: "I needed a lip scrub badly. My lips were so dried out from wearing a mask 10+ hours a day. I liked that this one is food-grade, as you definitely will get it in your mouth. It's almost too good, like you'd actually want to get it in your mouth! It works great, not too harsh, not too greasy. It did not cause clogged pores around my lips like many other scrubs and balms do. Smells and tastes amazing. A little goes a long way. I use their balm afterwards and it is an amazing duo." —MelissaInTN

    the candle

Promising review: "These candles are fantastic! They smell great, and do a great job of eliminating any odors in your house, not only those from pets. They do work best if you burn them for one to two hours at a time but will get rid of the smells of wet dog, fecal smells, urine odors, and I’ve even found them useful for cooking odors. I’ve had three candles now (the first arrived shattered, and was replaced; the next three arrived in perfect condition). I highly recommend these candles. I purchased the Vanilla Creme Brûlée scent. Placed this on the inside of the lid near the hinge to lessen the chances of it being scraped off during emptying and no flies/maggots and no apparent odor. the wifi extender

Promising reviews: "When I first started working from home I was having trouble with the audio and video quality of my web meetings and even lost the connection to them at least twice a day. I decided to try this and in the two months I have had it I have had ZERO connectivity issues. I'm in a ranch-style home with the router in the basement and my office on the ground floor as far away from the router as I could be. It didn't seem like that should be far enough to make a difference since each floor is only 1,200 square feet. However, I plugged the unit into a socket in the hallway outside my office and it has made a fantastic difference in my office as well as on the TV in the bedroom across the hall. No stuttering on the TV, no issues during Zoom, Webex, or Microsoft Teams meetings. Absolutely worth every penny. And I am not being compensated in any way for this review." —Baker & Candy maker

It just wasn't on my radar until COVID-19 and the toilet paper rush made me start wondering what I would do without TP. Now that TP is back on the shelves, I am staying with my TUSHY! It is a great product. Easy to install. Very cost effective. Regular water temp is not an issue at all. I was worried about cold water, but no problems. I used to be one of those people who thought this was just weird, but not anymore. Use the TUSHY then pat dry. Wash your pat cloths with the laundry." —Charles

The doorstop under a closed door

Promising review: "These are fantastic and VERY loud. I put one at the front door without telling my wife while she was out. She came in, the door wouldn't open past it, and the alarm went off. Not only did it scare her, but I was napping in the den and it scared the crap out of me too! Fantastic door alarm that no one should be without in my opinion, even if you have an alarm. I travel a lot for work, and having one at the door in the room is extra peace of mind. Inexpensive enough for you to supply for your family, and even friends. Easy to use as well. Keep in mind that if you set it off, you need to pick it up and turn off manually." —Xfiler

Get it from Amazon for $11.98 (available in three styles).

    29. A hands-free dog leash that'll make it easier for you and your furry friend to enjoy your afternoon stroll. Reviewers say dogs can't pull on the leash, and it gives them more mobility while out and about. It's also a great option for dog walkers in wheelchairs.,

Promising review: "This thing is awesome! I was hesitant to buy it because I had tried a bungee leash extension from the same brand in the past and hated it (my dog pulls at other dogs, and I felt it didn't give enough control in those situations). However, I'm so glad I gave it a shot! I was getting tired of running with a regular leash because holding it messed up my form and gave me aches and pains after every run. This completely solves that since I can swing my arms naturally. The bungee is also much better in this format. If my dog gets overzealous and runs too fast, the bungee softens the impact of any pulls so I don't fall, but I still have full control if we see another dog, thanks to the handle on both ends! They are outside of the bungee area, so they do not stretch at all. I use the one closest to my dog when I know he might jump or if I need to keep him close on our sidewalk-less streets, and I use the one closest to my waist if he starts running too fast. The handles are also padded, and the material surrounding the bungee is thick and high-quality, so if I ever have to do a 'reel-in,' it doesn't hurt my hands. Lastly, as I figured out when I idiotically fell face-first on a recent run, having your dog tethered to your waist can be great if you fall and get injured! I used to run with a retractable, and since my dog spooks easily, he probably would've freaked out/possibly bolted if I had dropped it on a fall. There is nothing to drop with this one and nothing you need to hold with a scraped-up hand. Really a lot of benefits to this one! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes running with their dog, even if they're a puller." —Ally

Get it from Amazon for $19.95 (available for one or two dogs and in six colors).

    30. A Grace Eleyae satin-lined cap, because to the naked eye it'll just be a stylish hat acting as the cherry on top of your OOTD, but the satin lining underneath will also preserve your hairstyle, locking in moisture and giving your hairs a safe place to rest that fosters growth.

    Grace Eleyae

The satin helps retain moisture and reduce breakage-causing friction, and can even help distribute the natural oils in your hair. The brand, Grace Eleyae, is a Black woman-owned business that specializes in accessories that are both protective and stylish! Check out more Grace Eleyae caps here.

My colleague Chantel Turner loves these caps. She says:

"*I* personally own one of these amazing caps and it has changed my life. My scarf never stayed on my head throughout the night so I always experienced frizz in the morning. I adjust this cap with the hidden drawstrings and haven't experienced that problem since I started using it. The cap is also perfect for rainy, windy, or humid days. A traditional hat without the satin/silk allows the humidity to seep under and cause major frizz or leave me with the dreaded 'hat hair.' With the Grace Eleyae cap, I can style my hair before placing the cap on and when I get to my destination and take it off, it looks exactly as I styled it."

Get it from Grace Eleyae for $24 (available in two sizes) or shop another style from Amazon for $29.95 (available in eight colors).

    31. A pair of period panties for a leak-proof comfortable alternative to other period products reviewers say is a game-changer amongst people who menstruate. They hold about two tampons worth of blood, but some reviewers said it held a little more than that. Plus, since you're able to wash and reuse, it cuts down on waste, too.

    Emma Lord / BuzzFeed

My colleague, Emma Lord, recently tried these panties. Here's what she had to say:

"I'm no stranger to period undies — my flow has the personality of a vengeful chaos witch, so owning them has been key — but I've always been put off by how expensive they are, at usually $25–$35 a pair from competitors. Bambody's are at a price where I feel wayyy better buying in multiples, since it isn't such an investment. Bambody's period underwear is a great alternative not just for the price, but the performance. The absorbency of these is no joke — the leakproof layer runs from all the way in the front to all the way in the back, so you can move around all day or sleep with these in any position at night and not worry about any ~surprises~ on your clothes. But what really steps them up above other competitors — even the few that are within their price range — is the comfort. I'm extremely picky about wanting ~full butt coverage~ in a pair of period underwear, and while a lot of retailers cater more toward users who like "cheeky" styles, I find them v uncomfy. Bambody's underwear is also made with a super breathable bamboo fabric that make them way more cooling than other brands I've tried. What's great about these especially is unlike your regular underwear, if these get stained with period blood, they were literally *designed* for that. No more googling "how to get blood out of fabric" at 2 in the morning as you try to scrub it out of your regular cotton pairs!"

Get it from Amazon for $14.90+ (available in sizes XXS–6XL)

Promising review: "My husband calls the Bacon Sponge my Baconator! Since the lockdown and the scarcity of paper goods, I've reevaluated my carbon footprint. Where I used to go through several paper towels as I blotted the grease off of food, I needed nothing more than the bacon sponge laid across my cutting board to do the trick this time. It sopped up the bacon grease like a charm. After a few minutes soaking in Dawn dish detergent, I threw it into the wash with my towels. Came out lovely — fresh and ready for another round. I do plan on trying it with other foods like chicken. A top-notch product!" —dvitola

Promising review: "This file is the most amazing product. You name it, I’ve tried it. I’m 80 years old and have calluses on my left foot, and heels. This little guy worked like a charm. In 10 minutes both feet were done and smooth. My feet were dry, not wet, and I was careful not to press down. I can’t say enough about the Rikans Foot File." —Arlene R. Bridgeman

    35. A touchless stationery vacuum because some of us still haven't mastered the whole sweep into the dustpan coordination and spend way too much time trying to figure it out. This way, no dustpan is required. Just sweep the crumbs over to the stationery vacuum and it'll do the rest of the work.

Promising review: "After seeing other reviews, I ordered this for easy dog hair clean up. It's easy to hide behind the couch and so simple to use. After getting tired to dog hair, this was the answer for me instead of sweeping onto a dustpan and losing half of it as it tumbled back to the floor!" —V. Hardee

    36. A super convenient tofu press for transforming your tofu into an easier to manage food. A block of tofu is similar to a sponge, but with the press, you can squeeze the water out of it, which makes for a firmer block that makes it easier to slice and gives it a crispier finish. Plus, it won't fall apart while cooking.

Promising review: "I've been a vegan for 13 years and I can't believe I went this long without a tofu press. So much more enjoyable cooking with tofu after pressing it. This press is different than all the rest as it has a tray that catches all the water. You can put the whole thing in the fridge and it's hassle-free. Take it out the next day and drain the liquid and you're good to go. The other presses require a plate underneath and some require tightening and adjustments as it presses. I'll admit after reading some of the reviews here of users with broken Tofuture presses I was hesitant to order but I've just been careful with mine and haven't had any problems so far." —Conner

Promising review: "Love this mascara! I’ve used the 'best of the best' designer, super hyped, ultra popular mascara available and NOTHING compares to this stuff! I don’t even bother using a lash curler anymore! I buy two at a time so I always have a spare (yes, it’s that good!!). I highly recommend this particular goes on effortlessly, it lasts pretty much all day, and the price — I feel like I’m almost stealing it! I’d give it 10 stars if I could!!!" —chulaboola

Promising review: "I purchased this based on positive reviews and now know that they didn't even touch how amazing this product is. I was tired of using mascara removers and washing my face and still having makeup on. Well, that problem is now gone. This product seriously does what it says — it erases makeup! I could not believe the way it removed my makeup the first time I used it! I use it for a week, toss it in the wash, and use it again. I was wondering how it would clean up in the laundry, and it always looks brand new. I no longer have to use chemicals to remove my makeup!" —StaceyB
