Sharing a "cheers!" over FaceTime again was certainly not a part of my 2022 vision board. 

But there's one summertime staple that has had our backs through thick and thin this season — and that is the humble BBQ snag.

I can handle the endless humidity, the reshuffled plans, the rained-off beach days — just give me a pair of tongs, a flamin' barbie and a pack of sausages, and I can damn well take on the world.

And now, thanks to an incredible new initiative from BWS, you can use your love of a sausage sanga to provide some much-needed help to your community this summer.

So if you're feeling like the last two years have left you with a generous spirit and a need to give back to the world, then listen up. 

Yep, that's right, you'll get even more good feels the next time you light up the BBQ, because BWS are promising to donate $1 for every snag to their partnering charity organisation, GIVIT.

GIVIT is a not-for-profit organisation that makes a huge, positive impact in Australia. GIVIT is an easy, quick and efficient way of donating directly to people and communities in need, without overwhelming councils and charities on the ground.

Which means, from Jan 19 until Jan 26, all you have to do is fire up your barbie, post a snap to Instagram and tag #snagadonation and @bws_au. Then, for every snag they see in the picture, BWS will donate $1 to GIVIT!

The more snags, the better. So grill one for your neighbours, your friends and your family...even if they can't physically be with you to enjoy it!
