    BuzzFeed UK Announces Mark Rogers As Its First General Manager

    Rogers will support BuzzFeed’s expansion into the licensing and consumer product space, as well as the launch of shows like #What2Watch on Twitter.

    Monday 20th May, London -- BuzzFeed UK today announced that it has named Mark Rogers as its General Manager, a role in which he will oversee all business, sales and lead the overall growth and success of the operation across Europe. Rogers joins BuzzFeed from Dow Jones and The Wall Street Journal, where he served as Vice President, Media Sales and Marketing, Asia Pacific. He was on the senior leadership team in both Hong Kong and London for over a decade.


    As its first General Manager, Rogers will lead brand partnerships and advertising solutions for BuzzFeed’s entire portfolio, including BuzzFeed News and brands such as Proper Tasty and Bring Me! across the UK. Rogers will support BuzzFeed’s expansion into the licensing and consumer product space, as well as the launch of shows like #What2Watch on Twitter. He will spearhead new brand partnerships and advertising products and report to Matt Drinkwater, SVP International Brand Strategy in the US.
