BuzzFeed Mexico Is Rebranding As BuzzFeed LATAM
BuzzFeed LATAM will publish more local content from Mexico, Colombia, Argentina and Peru

BuzzFeed today announces it is rebranding BuzzFeed Mexico as BuzzFeed LATAM. BuzzFeed Mexico launched in 2015 and has a booming content business around the topics of pop culture, diversity and inclusion as well as BuzzFeed’s classic quizzes.
In recent months the website has seen record traffic with 45 million monthly page views. As well as producing sharp, sharable content, BuzzFeed LATAM works with partners including Unilever, Diageo, Anheuser-Busch InBev, Pepsico, Amazon and Bimbo in advertising, commerce (which it recently introduced in the region) and licensed products such as the Bien Tasty Cookbook with Stella Artois and Tasty’s favourite Hellmann’s mayonnaise. BuzzFeed LATAM hosts monthly virtual events named BuzzFeed Talks, which sees executives from across the wider company discuss topical issues such as the coronavirus pandemic, the new crop of consumers, Gen-Z, and the future of affiliate marketing. Based on audience interest and trends, future events in the series will focus on sustainability and the LGBTQ+ audience.

In 2020 BuzzFeed LATAM will publish more local content from Mexico, Colombia, Argentina and Peru. All of BuzzFeed Mexico’s entities will be rebranded, including across their social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok and Youtube.
