ABOUT THIS EVENT
Courting a consumer in the age of social can be deceiving. Just because a user “likes” a brand on Facebook, doesn’t necessarily mean it will translate to a meaningful engagement, as reported in a recent BuzzFeed study. In a competitive online world, social media gives brands an opportunity to attract users, as well as encourage them to share with their friends. But how do brands develop a personal relationship with users that goes beyond just “like?”
Terry City, Vice President of Sales, West Coast, BuzzFeed and Gregg Colvin, Vice President Digital from Universal McCann will show how branded content combined with social sharing can yield the best results. The presentation will be followed by an informal speed dating game where attendees will be paired with their “perfect match,” and teams will play trivia and compete for prizes. Food and refreshments to be served.
