You can make some small edits to BuzzFeed list posts (meaning both plain and numbered lists, but not article/longform posts or breaking posts) right from your phone. To do this, go to buzzfeed.com on a mobile phone and log in using your staff account.
When you navigate to a post that's editable, you'll see a pencil icon in the top right corner.
That will take you into editing mode. From there you can edit the post headline and description, or edit or delete subbuzzes. Once you're done making all your changes click "Publish Changes."
Just like in Superposter, if you delete a subbuzz that deletion happens as soon as you confirm it. All other changes are only made once you click "Publish Changes." If you instead click "Cancel" then your changes (except for subbuzz deletions which, again, happen as soon as you confirm them) will be discarded.
You'll notice that you can only edit most text fields for most subbuzz types. You can't create new subbuzzes or change images, and there are some things you can't do, like edit quizzes or change the credit for individual photorow images.
Our hope is that even with these limitations this is still a useful feature. If you find that you're running into these limitations often though, please let us know! This is only our first pass at mobile editing, and we plan to keep improving on it.
