Blogger's Code of Conduct

Tim O'Reilly drafts a "Blogger's Code of Conduct" in response to the blogger death threat controversy.

In our experience in dealing with blogs, bloggers seem to be pretty nice and friendly people, except maybe sometimes when they are posting zoomed-in photos of Britney's mystery stain, or engaging in fervent cyber-discussions about how "fugly" Kirsten Dunst is. That's not nice, guys! But we'll link to you anyway.

Editorial note: Whoa! You've found a super-old post here on BuzzFeed, from an earlier era of the site. It doesn't really represent where we are anymore, and may in fact be totally broken, but we're leaving it up as a part of our early history.
