Yes, ALL religions are, to some extent, bad. But the Catholic Church never, in my experience, harassed or stalked people who left it. But check out the Magdalene Laundry story for just HOW bad they were, at least in Ireland.

I've known people who tried it, and left. Most were stalked and harassed by the 'church', some for years. I did watch the Remini shows, and it fit closely to what I had seen happen to those who left the 'church'
