Salad

It’s exactly what they’re expecting. The guy will look across the table at you and think, “Oh, she’s going to order a salad, thinking I’ll commend her for being dainty.” Nope, it just looks like you can’t hang with the contenders.

Sushi

This pains me to no end. Burgers are my favorite meal on this earth. They have everything you want in one place. But they are NOT first date appropriate. Anything that forces you to open your mouth in lion-like proportions is something to stay away from.
