More people die from cold than heat. More food can be grown in longer growing seasons than shorter ones. Weather extremes have not increased inacentury. The warmest period in the U.S. was the 1930s. Global temperatures have flatlined for 16 years. Fewer hurricanes have hit the U.S. in the past decade than for many decades past. The 1880s were particularly cold soa1° increase from that period is hardly threatening. But I’m all for more taxes.
