Also, blood generally just goes down into the sewer system, we don’t collect or keep it for any reason. To me, the sewer grates in a city smell the most similar to decomposition. Autopsies smell fishy to me.

It’s emotionally and physically draining- to go from an embalming, to picking up someone’s recently deceased loved one, to an arrangement conference, to a graveside service while comforting other people is exhausting!!
