I think it's safe to assume that all of us have had that moment when you realize you're enjoying something you could have never imagined liking when you were younger. And recently, Reddit user qzlr was curious about that when they asked, "What do you enjoy more the older you get?"
There were some great and relatable responses in the thread. Here are some of the top and best comments:
1. "A weekend where nothing is happening."
2. "Being alone and staying home."
3. "Sleeping!"
4. "Listening instead of talking."
5. "Silence."
6. "Naps."
7. "Doing absolutely nothing."
8. "A good book, or a movie, or a game."
9. "Being out in nature."
10. "Friendship."
11. "Waking up early. Especially on my days off."
12. "That first cup of coffee."
13. "No longer needing to be up to date on all the trendy things. New TikTok whatever? Sorry, I took a nap instead."
14. "Small talk and getting to know new people. Used to find it pointless. The older I get the more I realize how misanthropic that is. Love chatting new people up."
And lastly...
15. "The ability to truly not care. As in: not get upset, jealous, annoyed, angry, or distracted from things that really shouldn’t be any of my concern or business anyway. The older I get the more I can now decide I won’t be bothered by that anymore, and it’s done. Less stress and wasted energy. I enjoy that."
