Best Picture: 12 Years a Slave

Although Wolf of Wall Street was a personal favorite, 12 Years will take the award on this one.

Best Actor: Matthew McConaughey

I may or may not have posted a lengthy article on why Leo deserved the Oscar for this category. I still believe he deserves it more than McConaughey but research shows different than my personal opinion. Boo hoo.

Best Actress: Cate Blanchett

Easy win. Phenomenal acting.

Best Supporting Actor: Jared Leto

Again, another easy win. His portrayal of Rayon was incredible.

Best Supporting Actress: Lupita Nyong'o

It's difficult, as much as I want to say Jennifer Lawrence, the research again tells me no. I hope I'm wrong, and as well as Lupita did in 12 Years, she just didn't grab me like Lawrence in American Hustle. Maybe it was her 7 minutes (slight exaggeration) of screen time, but she just didn't make an impact on me. Either way, research shows she's going home with the Oscar.

Best Director: Alfonso Cuaron (Gravity)

Sometimes it's hard to tell who could win Best Director. This is not one of those times.

Original Screenplay: American Hustle (This was a tie based on research with Her. I didn't personally love American Hustle but going with voters, I believe AH will take it.)

Film Editing: Gravity

Cinematography: Gravity

Production Design: The Great Gatsby

Costume Design: American Hustle (This was also a tie with The Great Gatsby, I went with my gut here.)

Make-up & Hairstyling: Dallas Buyer's Club (If Bad Grandpa wins, so help me.)

Visual Effects: Gravity

Sound Editing: Gravity

Sound Mixing: Gravity

Original Score: Gravity (Do you seem a theme here?)

Animated Feature: Frozen

Animated Short: Get a Horse!

Documentary Feature: The Square (This category was tough, no website or article agreed on one except for this one. So I'm leaning towards it.)
