I work for Walmart where we price match. One day a lady came through my checkout lane with several things she wanted to ad match. She handed me a coffee and said “this is 7.99 at Walgreens” I went ahead and started doing the ad match. The register always shows you our store price before you’re able to enter the matching price and I noticed for this particular coffee OUR price was cheaper. I proceeded to let her know our price. She gives me this impatient look and goes “I SAID I wanted to price match” I was taken aback and started explaining again that our actual store price was lower than the price she wanted to match. She stopped me and said “I am PRICE MATCHING” like I was stupid. I just went ahead and entered the price match. I mean if you wanna pay more be my guest!
You might think of me as weak or “unable” to cope with life, but I can honestly say that had I not gotten help for my depression/anxiety/BPD when I did, I would not be here today telling you this. Prozac literally helped me save my life.
