Generation I gave us some of the greatest Pokémon ever; but what normal types are the best in that Generation? Ignore any Gen VI type changes!

Even as a kid I felt Doduo's design was lazy. It's a brown featherball with two heads.

The bane of my existence in R/B/Y. Yeah sure there were a handful of other Pokémon that were as equally annoying as Pidgey, but Pidgey just rubbed me the wrong way. Its only saving grace is it evolves into better looking 'mons.

Not as creepy as its evolved form, but Clefairy are pretty creepy. And their obsession with moon stones is strange!

Chansey has always been a "meh" Pokémon for me. It was heard to catch in the Safari Zone, but it was never desirable to me. Chansey felt more like a human character after watching the anime so much.

Jigglypuff has soul devouring eyes like Wigglypuff, but Jigglypuff is in the Super Smash Bros. franchise!

Fearow isn't bad nor good. Fearow was just typically a 'mon I got through evolving a Spearow (shudder) if I happened to be trying to catch'em all!

Admittedly, Tauros' design is pretty simplistic, but simple doesn't always mean bad. I always imagined having a herd of Tauros just like Ash did (EVEN THOUGH THAT EPISODE NEVER OFFICIALLY AIRED HERE!).

The reason I have the Virtual Pokémon this low is the amount of inane effort you'd have to put in to get it in the casino. Unless you used the Rare Candy cheat with Nuggets.

Okay, so previously I said Dodrio was a poor design... Well Dodrio is essentially the same with an extra head AND an awesome pink feathered tail! Add in the feathers each head receives, and Dodrio looks MUCH better than Doduo does.

The most terrific pink blob of whatever! Ditto can change into anything it wants to, including that person you've been liking for some time! Sadly, Ditto retains its eyes and mouth after transforming so that could get awkward.
