10 Reasons Taking Back Sunday Is The Best Band

Taking Back Sunday has the most relatable music and the most relatable band members.

Taking Back Sunday's debut album Tell All Your Friends is the epitome of the post-punk, emo and alternative rock turn in the early 2000s. Everyone has heard "Cute Without the E (Cut From the Team)" and likely knows more songs on this fantastic album.

Adam Lazzara loves swinging his mic to and fro, around his neck and any other place he can swing it. The energy Lazzara puts into this act really brings a cool edge to Taking Back Sunday's live performances.

Taking Back Sunday's official twitter account has tweeted this image out multiple times because of fans whining about TBS not attending the fans' city, or from fans constantly berating the twitter account on whether or not TBS is coming to the fans' city.

I have to agree with TBS here since a band can't realistically cater to all fans, so the fans really need to check the tour schedule and try to make plans to see the closest show.

5. The Original Group Is Back Together!

That's right; all five original members are back and have record two more albums since getting back together!

A band is always much better when it's the originals!

6. Each Member Cares About More Than Just Music

Sure it's all fine and dandy that musicians truly care about their craft (and all Taking Back Sunday members do!), but as a person that would make them awfully one dimension and, honestly, quite boring after a while.

Each member takes an interest in a plethora of things, including (not each member necessarily likes all these things): surfing, MMA, social media, comics, their families, art, fashion, travelling, beer, etc. Give a quick whirl on their twitter accounts and you'll see.

One could say those are typical guy things to like, but it makes them much more relatable that way too.

7. They Still Make Music Videos For Their Songs!

8. John Nolan Has Covered Justin Bieber Before

Okay, so this may not be the greatest reason for most, but I think it's pretty great when musicians cover pop songs and make them their own. John Nolan creates an interesting take on Bieber's early hit "Baby."

9. The Number 152

If you notice the number 152 shows up in almost all Taking Back Sunday album covers, merch, backdrops, etc. Ever wonder why?

Well the band first met off the interstate exit 152 in - I believe - New Jersey.
