Central Bangkok has been the scene of two bombings over the last two days, with more than 22 people dead and 120 injured.

Burns took to Facebook to explain his situation after handing himself over to police last night, fearing he may be arrested.

Burns had previously used his tutoring Facebook page to send out his condolences to Thailand and those affected by the blasts.

Police were able to prove Burns' innocence after finding footage of the model's whereabouts at the time of the bombings.

BuzzFeed News has reached out to Burns for comment.
