This Santa Learned Sign Language So He Could Speak To A Deaf Little Girl

Police chief Salvatore Albert was taught sign language by Sadie Adams' mother so he could communicate as Santa so he could make one little girl's Christmas..

Six-year-old Sadie Adams usually needs an interpreter to talk to Santa every year - but this year Santa understood her and spoke back.

Sadie's mother had secretly taught regular Santa Police Chief Salvatore Albert how to say important Santa-esque lines in sign language (like ask what she wanted for Christmas) and in the process managed to give Sadie a wonderful surprise.

Albert described the look on Sadie's face when she realised that Santa was talking to her for the first time.

Afterwards, Sadie was thrilled that Santa knew her name - asking him for "a kitchen and a baby" for Christmas.
