Performing at a gig in Sydney last night, rap supergroup Wu-Tang Clan have vowed to defeat Sydney's controversial lockout laws.
Last week, 15,000 people rallied around Sydney protesting the laws, which enforce a 1:30am lockout for bars and clubs within the Sydney CBD, as well as a 3am last drinks call.
"We heard y'all got some new crazy laws," RZA reportedly told the crowd. "We're going to get these laws changed for y'all."
Kogarah Labor MP Chris Minns told The Daily Telegraph he agreed with the group's sentiment.
"I don't normally get my policy advice from a man named Ghostface Killah but on this one he is right," he said. "These laws need to be changed."
