South Australian police have arrested a 45-year-old man and his 14-year-old son after footage of the pair allegedly assaulting a boy known to them went viral.
Police will allege that the assault took place on Monday, around 11am, in Port Augusta.
The footage, which was originally uploaded to the Welcome To Country Facebook page, has been viewed almost 300,000 times and shows the father and son allegedly confronting a boy before pushing him to the ground. The victim is allegedly punched by the 14-year-old.
Here is the full transcript from the moment of filming:
Father: "If you fuckin' touch my son ... If you punch my son I am going to smash your fucking face in mate."
Victim: "Tell him to leave me alone then."
Father: "No, no, you deserve what you get. Apologise."
Father: "Apologise to him, get on your knees. [To son] Get him on his knees."
Father: "Who are you sorry to? Sorry to my daughter? To his mum?"
Father: "You better fucking mean it."
Victim: "I do."
Father: "You know what's gonna happen to your fucking family if I ever hear you say any fucking thing again? You know what's gonna fucking happen? I'm going to come to your house mate and there's gonna be fucking hell. You got it?"
Father: "Look at me in the fucking eye. You fucking got it?"
Father: "You spit on my daughter again I'm gonna fucking take your fucking head in. You got it cunt?"
Father: "Good, now fuck off."
