Here's a video of Today host Lisa Wilkinson interviewing Clive Palmer and absolutely destroying him.
Wilkinson was grilling Palmer over the collapse of his nickel refinery in Queensland, and reports that 237 of its workers who were recently sacked are unlikely to be paid their entitlements.
"You just declared that you're a very generous man," begins Lisa. "Why don't you pay those entitlements to those 200 families?"
But Lisa wasn't really having any of it.
"You're a politician in federal parliament these days," she said, "is it fair to say your stint has been at best an embarrassment and at worst a disaster?"
"You fall asleep in parliament."
"You often don't bother to turn up."
"Your so-called Palmer United Party has imploded."
"You betrayed the faith of everyone who believed in you."
"What do you think the average Australian voter thinks of you right now?"
"You really don't care about the truth, do you?"
