At the time, the milk crate received less attention than the other planned "Spacenoodle" installation.

However, controversy has recently erupted as artist Jarrad Kennedy brought this to everyone's attention:
The post has since been edited, with Jarrad originally citing the price of his own sculpture at $5,000.
Facebook users were quick to give their opinions on the whole thing.

Surely the fact that the milk crate idea is stolen is the whole point.
