Indiana Startup Roundup

New ideas from around the state deserve recognition, and I'm here to spread the news.

Startups, Kickstarters, IndieGoGo projects: Oh my!

Indy's small business landscape is growing each and every day, but so many great ideas still need your help: here are list of the best projects I've seen online (or are about to open) and how you can help!

Tappers Arcade Bar

Gamers, pinball wizards and beer connoisseurs: listen up! Jeff Moulton, Austin Howard and friends want to bring Indianapolis natives a fun alternative to the bar scene downtown. Outfitted with 25+ cabinets and machines, at least 8 taps, and a free-to-play atmosphere, they still need your help with raising $30,000 for this project. Mbody Coach

This is one of the coolest things I've seen on Kickstarter: the Mbody Coach is an intelligent sportswear item with real-time audio coaching. It brings along smartphone integration and comprehensive monitoring technology; people who aren't professional athletes don't always have the chance to work with this stuff! They still need over $70,000 so throw your money their way!

Rocket 88 Doughnuts

I mentioned these guys in one of my previous posts, and I'm as excited as ever that the shop is opening up soon. Thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign, the shop is set to feature their delicious donuts very soon: we're just waiting on the final touches. Stay updated by following them on Facebook and Twitter! I'll see you at the grand opening!
