Benito Juárez International Airport in Mexico

This is the largest airport in Mexico and it is located just 5 km from the capital city. There are built-on areas around the airport so the landing airplanes fly directly over the city.

The airport offers flights to over 100 places in North America, South America, the Caribbean Islands, Europe and Asia. 32 airlines operate there, both domestic and international. It is planned that after a profound extension, the airport will be able to serve 32 million passengers a year. There are two terminals connected via a one-track Aerotrén train. It can be used by checked-in passengers with carry-on baggage. The distance between the terminals equals 3 km and it takes about 4 minutes by the train. A shuttle bus also provides transportation between the terminals. The airport also offers lots of services and stores. At the terminals, there is, among others, a relaxation zone, conference rooms, VIP lounges, a reading room, resting zone and restaurants. There is a car park as well.
