1. That time Mo'Nique had us screaming "YAAASS!" while she Uh Oh-ed:

In 2004, Mo'Nique opened the BET Awards with a stellar performance. Alongside a handful of dancers, she killed "Crazy in Love," bringing Beyoncé and the entire auditorium to their feet. GET IT GIRL!

5. When Yvette reminded us how much she "hates" Jody:

In 2011, Taraji P. Henson and Tyrese reenacted our all-time favorite scene from Baby Boy leaving the crowd, and them, dying of laughter.

6. The moment these vocal powerhouses shared the stage:

Yolanda Adams, Gladys Knight, and Patti LaBelle joined Eddie Levert on stage as he sang "Wind Beneath My Wings" in 2007. There's no denying everyone who witnessed this beautiful tribute had chills running down their spine.

7. Busta's untouchable "Touch It" performance:

Busta shut down the stage when he performed both "I Love My Chick" and "Touch It (Remix)" in 2006. Bringing out Kelis,, Missy, Mary J., Lloyd Banks, DMX, Papoose, and Eminem, the crowd had no choice but to jump up out their seats.

10. When Prince showed Chaka the love of a lifetime:

In honor of her 2006 Lifetime Achievement Award, the everywoman herself had Prince, Stevie Wonder, Yolanda Adams, and India.Arie rock the stage with her.

11. When Nicki snatched wigs while remaining undefeated:

In 2014, Nicki Minaj won the award for Best Female Hip-hop Artist five years in a row. People speculated her acceptance speech threw some shade at Iggy Azalea, but as the queen, she rightfully set everyone straight.

12. When the King honored the Godfather:

In 2003, the King of Pop surprised the Godfather of Soul on stage by paying homage with a reverent drape of Brown's iconic cape. The two turned the crowd up by showing off their signature dance moves. Shortly after Michael presented Brown the Lifetime Achievement Award, he broke down, calling him his biggest influence.
