1. They've shown up and cheered at every one of your sporting events, even when there was very little to cheer for.
2. They've allowed you to be in public, even though you've proven time and time again that they can't take you nice places...
3. ...and you can't be trusted around nice things.
4. Not that you're any better at home.
5. They've stuck by you through all the phases...
6. ...and all the accompanying mood swings...
7. ...and rescued you from predicaments you've gotten yourself into.
8. You would have slept through life if it weren't for them.
9. You've never been grateful for all the effort they put into your presents.
10. And this year's homemade holiday card didn't go over so well.
11. They've always taken an interest in your interests, like the music you listen to or your favorite hobby.
12. Because they're always there to save you, even if you don't realize it.
13. And sometimes you're not there for them when they need you to be.
14. But mostly because they've always loved you unconditionally despite the fact that you were/still are a gross booger monster.
