4 Of The Best Lunch / Dinner Spots In Baltimore According To Ben

Hey hon! I'm here to help you find delicious food in my hometown. Go Flacco.

1. Nick's Fish House

Lunch at Nick's Fish House

Here's their website and their yelp page

What You Need To Know: Nick's is an all-around great place to get real Baltimore seafood. It's about a mile away from the hotels, so you'll need to take a taxi / uber to get there, but it's worth it. They're located right on the water by the Hanover Bridge and have outdoor and indoor seating, live music at night, and all the yummy crab cakes you could ever eat. REPEAT: YUMMY CRAB CAKES

2. The Helmand

Kaddo Borwani (pumpkin appetizer) / The Helmand

Here's their website and their yelp page

What You Need To Know: The Helmand is actually owned by the brother of the President of Afganistan, and he was in the running to become the next president of the country a few years ago. If you ask me, he should've won the election on his food alone. I'm not a very big Middle Eastern food guy, but these meals are something special. It's located in the heart of Mt. Vernon (a 10 minute walk from the hotels) and is absolutely worth your time.

3. Bo Brooks

Steamed Crabs / Bo Brooks

Here's their website and their yelp page

What You Need To Know: If you're sitting there like "Ben. I don't care about all this fluff. I'm just looking for steamed crabs, with a beautiful view, preferably somewhere on the harbor," then this is the place for you! Bo Brooks has great crabs, great oysters, and is located in Canton (a block away from where Jimmy and I used to live). It's roughly a 10 minute taxi / uber ride from your hotels, but it's right next to Fells Point, which is a MUST go.

4. Water For Chocolate

Veggie Omelet w/ Roasted Potatoes and Jalepeno Cornbread / Water For Chocolate

Here's their website and their yelp page

What You Need To Know: This is a Bryce Helfer recommendation, and I trust his tummy. I've never eaten here, but everything looks really good. They are great for both breakfast and lunch, so give it a try! If you hate it, it's Bryce's fault.
